Nice work on the Afrika Korps ork, I really like the automatic shotgun. This gave me a great Idea for an Ogryn ripper gun. Thanks.
Keep up the good work.

Not much done today, just messing around. However I started a new branch of my Ork Military, The Desert Korpze (DK).

First off, a shot of a few additions i'm adding to my DK.
My Recovery Vehicle w/ on-board Tank (Count as BattleWagon w/ Kill Kannon)
2 Wartrakks (gunna be a squad of Skorchas, the DK fuel Transporters)
2 Kannons
Waagh Marshal Grommel
My DK Trensh Gunna
And a Ork Sam Site (don't no what to count as)

I chose to represent Field Marshall Rommel as a Mega Armoured Warboss, a walking tank, I think that's fitting.

Will be painting my Mega Armoured Boss soon, will update later, peace.

Love the gun on the warboss. And is that a top hat I see?
That Gun trukk/ battle wagon is cool also.

Haha I would love a top hat, but alas it's only a officers cap. And cheers.

Those counts as battle wagons and Wartrakks look promising. I also really like the warboss. I have that exact Missile launching platform thingy in the top right of the first pic. I know exactly what to use it for now.

You probably won't see that for a while. I plan to finish my IG army way in the future, SM’s and Orks are my priorities now. Although I might do this as a change of pace now that I’m Inspired. Will post pics if I do them.

I finally found that SAM site thing I said I had. Here is my WIP Ork SAM site. I think I might count it as a Looted Whirlwind and give it a KFF to account for the Whirlwinds armour. Thanks for the Idea.

That's cool, and no probs. Still don't really know what to do with mine though

Anyway as I got bored, decided to read my white dwarf about the Grey Knights and I Just could resist painting this. I have in my care a squad of 5 old edition grey knights and forge world grey knight dreadnought that I never got around to painting. But I'd thought id share regardless of off-topic-ness.

Also just realised from this photo that 'Holy fire" has one word CAPS and the other lowercase. Just gunna go fix that now .

Peace.

That's a really nice GK. I'm going to add a Wartrakk front to my ork SAM site and then in general I'm going to ork it up a bit.

the sam thing could be a looted wagon with boom gun.
strenth 8 ,ap 3 ,ord1 large blast wepon would be a nice addition to your force and it fits in with the way the sam thing looks.

That's not a bad idea, I need to get hold of some wheels to mount it on though, or even being towed would be cool.

Wish I could say I had painted my last HQ. But I can't.

Did absolutely nothing, worked an 8 hour shift, came down with a migraine afterwards and slept all the light hours and so far most of the dark hours away.

I feel great now, paracetamol gives Feel No Pain. So will try again for tommorow. Wish me Luck.

So guys, was searching through my paints and just realised I can paint a whole different green.

So here it goes, what green do you guys like? I'll keep a tally, come on.

New Green Green (left) or Old Olive Green (right)

Peace.

alright thats 2 olive so far, anyone else.

Keep in consideration that the majority of my army is olive and grey.

my desert theme is a new installment. However if you look at my shokk attack gun mek on page 3 I think olive fits pretty well..

Still undecided :(

Hur hur, never too late.

Won;t be painting my last HQ 2nyt, probably just some boys or nobs. Got a 2K battle next week and I want to be filly painted and based.

long shot but i'll try.

Peace

Didn't get around to painting, however, if you have been following this thread a while back I said I might have to build a new roof for my BW because of superglue damage. Well I did, heres a pretty rough WIP.

It's just card, free and rather effective, although i'll reserve judgement until I've painted it. I'm going to take off that slit shield and replace it with just a slit. And that box on the top is for weapons mounting, either zap gun or kill kannon.

Also gunna put side plates on to try and buff it up to represent AV12 and give my ladz some pretection when walking on top (open topped).

Till tommorow, peace.

Surfing the Tervigon Wave...on a baby.

That is monstrously large and it suits!

And later than all of you...

Olive green - it's also more distinct!

And fits the whole desert theme better.

Now only a CSM player.
