Forgive me, as I have not read through the entire thread, but any concrete word on the smaller 15mm version?

Oh almost forgot. Any idea on how soon the alternate weapon arms will be available? (The ones not on either of the Leviathans.)

I know I will be waiting impatiently for them to come out, as I love the idea of being able to have hot swappable weapons without having to use magnets for a change.

I have to say the Crusaders definately will call to the GK players (heck any of the SM chapters would use these as knights or Titans... note I said knights or titans NOT knight titans... I know the difference :p ), but does anyone else see that the Mortis is going to be snapped up by the Admech players and Nurgle CSM?

Seriously that things just screams to be painted up black and red, or green and black (with yellow). Hmmm though it might make an interesting Necron model too come to think of it.

At earliest, they're about 3 months away I believe. Likely longer.

I would have ordered 2 in the first place, but thats too rich for my pocketbook. I held out with the $400 I had saved knowing if I spent it, I wouldnt be able to get that much hobby money together again for a long time.

However, the 15mm guys are supposed to be between $40 and $60...thats something I can pull up pretty easy...Ill be buying those probably 1or 2 a month for a few months.

Pre-Orders Are Now Closed…

I would like to thank my customers and the gaming community for a very successful pre-order.
We filled 50 slots in far shorter time than I had imagined. I will be batching up the orders and sending them off to the caster tomorrow morning.

Does this mean that you cannot place an order? No, we will continue to accept orders and all order will be filled in the order they are received.

The completion of pre-orders will allow me to give my caster a group order and receive a discount that I passed along to my customers in the pre-order pricing.

Once again, to all my current and future customers, THANK YOU for your business… I sincerely hope that you enjoy your purchase.

All the best,
Mark-

Awesome, less than a week. Congrats on a very successful debut.

By all means people, please keep up the orders. These things are a great kit, even at regular price. Continued orders of the 28mm leviathans will only serve to provide income that will speed the 15mm ones to market.

I cant wait to see the speed of orders for those...should be even more amazing than the 28mm kits.

Yeah thats what Im saying. As long as he hits the guesstimated range of $40-$60 they will sell like crazy.

OP says 45-60 days, but Im guessing it depends on how the caster ships the orders...one big shipment or several smaller ones. If its one big shipment the wait will be pretty long. If the caster ships in smaller groups then the wait will really depend on where you sit in the order line. OP says orders will be filled in the order they were received.

He said that the bulk order will be put in today, so Im sure he will be finding out from the caster how it will all go down.

Of course once NoseGoblin has the kits you also have shipping time...3 to 5 days for US customers, longer for international.

Thanks everyone! I hope it all goes well without hiccups...

I posted this on my blog:

Orders are in to the caster.

He is completing another customers order and will begin production on Monday. I will have him send the pre-orders in batches of ten or so to get them out to you ASAP.
Any changes to any orders will need to be completed by Friday, May the 6th 3:00 PST. After that any additions will have to be shipped separately from your main order. If you have a change to an existing order, you can contact me here. Please reference the name and PayPal email of your original order so that I can match up the changes.

A note on armor upgrades:
I received a price for the per arm armor and updated the website with this option. The caster has a minimum price, I have cut my margin on this item to try and keep it as affordable as possible.

All Crusaders are shipped with the armor shown in the pics, if you purchased extra weapons they will not have the additional armor.
There have been some questions about the armor upgrades and what fits what.. Each arm type has its own armor, Shooty weapons such as the Vulkan, close combat weapons such as the Scythe and Sword and finally the Claw. Each of these is designed to be either right or left.

I do not have armor for all the weapons, some are being printed right now..

Here is what is available as of today:
Left hand Mauler
Right or left Vulkan Cannon
Left hand Reaper Scythe
Left hand Executioners Blade

Being printed today: (These will not be ready to ship before the current pre-orders have been completed. You can purchase them later and they glue right onto the assembled model.)
Right hand Mauler
Right hand Reaper Scythe
Right hand Executioners Blade

All the best,
Mark-

So, I'm working on the 15mm scale versions and I wanted to ask you. What size do you prefer for the Crusader and Mortis?

1/87 scale (HO) would be about 5.6" tall
1/100 scale is roughly 16mm and would be about 5" tall.
1/107 is 15 mm scale and would be about 4.55" tall

The reason I am asking is that if I take it down to a true 15mm scale I have issues with part thickness on some components. 1/100 scale and 1/87 scale gets me where I need to be with the thinner parts. Granted, the models do not have anything that would denote a particular size, such as a crew hatch... so I could scale it to whatever size.

Thoughts? Preferences?

I'll cast my vote for the 1/87 scale, as that would likely allow greater detail in the model, while still being small enough to use in the 15mm games.

Agreed, 5.6 tall would also be a good size to use in 40K and fantasy games as well. The Fw rev titan is around 12" tall, and the OOP metal Avatar, and new wraithlord are around 5" tall, so 5.6" sounds almost perfect to me.

1/87 scale sounds best to me. I am really looking forward to you getting these made as well... (evil plans to get a bunch of smaller Mortis to go with the large one i pre ordered.)

Either 1/87 or 1/100, would probably prefer 1/87 if that's counting the exhaust stacks. Keep in mind Dreadknight is ~4.5", not that everyone wants it for that but I'd bet the majority do.

I'd prefer the 1/87th scale as it'd be bigger and allow a touch more detail. I like larger models for painting, not really planning on using it for game play but as a kick butt display piece.

As there are no hatches or other details to detemine the actual size of the mini within any given scale I would go with what ever size gives you the best chance to have a quality sculpt. I will chip in and say that I'm looking forward to seeing what comes out at a price that is more in my range. Great job so far NG!

1/87 preferred, 1/100 acceptable. Definitely not 15mm.

That said, pricing is also a factor. I would like it to be around £40, could stretch to £50, but wouldnt really be able to go any higher if i wanted to buy 3 (which i do! lol)

Im fine with either 1/87 or 1/100...thought 1/87 (HO) would allow the use of model train scenery, which would give huge options for filling a game board.

My big question is what is that going to do to the price? Your original range of $40-$60 (US) is a great range for many people. If going with a larger scale causes the price to get much higher it may hurt sales. Start pushing into the $75-$100 and many people will have trouble affording it. Compare how many people can afford a Leman Russ tank @ $49.50 to how many buy the Baneblade tank @ $99.00...
