Why is it I feel this thread doesn't have long left?

Thankfully though, at least Yak is keeping the OP up-to-date to save people having to scroll through 33 pages...

"It is the great irony of the Legiones Astartes: engineered to kill to achieve a victory of peace that they can then be no part of."
- Roboute Guilliman

"As I recall, your face was tortured. Imagine that - the Master of the Wolves, his ferocity twisted into grief. And yet you still carried out your duty. You always did what was asked of you. So loyal. So tenacious. Truly you were the attack dog of the Emperor. You took no pleasure in what you did. I knew that then, and I know it now. But all things change, my brother. I'm not the same as I was, and you're... well, let us not mention where you are now."

Ha! Ha! Ha! If GW got a set of rules for barfights, that would be hilarious... (I could just see it, scatter dice + 1D6 used to determine movement in the movement phase). But anyways, I want to clarify, for the sake of remaining on topic-ish, gauss weapons lose the auto wound on 6 but keep the auto glance on 6, am I correct in my understanding?

Well, if they're now "bound aspects", serving the Necrontyr, Elite would make sense. HQ wouldn't do because they're not going to be leading the Necrontyr into battle, Heavy Support could but it doesn't reflect the supposed versatility of the potential upgrades, Fast Attack wouldn't do, and they can't be Troop because we already have Warriors, Immortals and probably Blood Angels if you take the Silent King.

3.) Are the C'tan more like "aspects of C'tan", otherwise filling elite slots with upgradable gods sounds a bit weird.
4.) Are you sure about one unit, pariahs, completely disappearing from the Codex? Is this a first? Or have they become Crypteks perhaps?

Google Chrome translates the French to English quite satisfactorily.

Mannahnin wrote:A lot of folks online (and in emails in other parts of life) use pretty mangled English. The idea is that it takes extra effort and time to write properly, and they’d rather save the time. If you can still be understood, what’s the harm? While most of the time a sloppy post CAN be understood, the use of proper grammar, punctuation, and spelling is generally seen as respectable and desirable on most forums. It demonstrates an effort made to be understood, and to make your post an easy and pleasant read. By making this effort, you can often elicit more positive responses from the community, and instantly mark yourself as someone worth talking to.

I was hoping the transport would look like the Star Wars MTT droid rack

The thought of lowering 20 warriors a turn feels cronically cruel

Necrons should have something similar

just those ranks of crons locked down in a massive tank, maybe a more lengthy monolith?

Derby, UK.

If it was a fast skimmer i woudl prefer it to look somethgin liek a cross between a monolith and a skiff.

Maybe a chopped down monolith if it supposed to be open topped?

What's to say that this couldn't hold say 20 Warriors?

I mean it could open up the side flaps and eject 10 warriors on each side that has been bunched up like those drones from star wars. It wouldn't be fluffy but it would be plausible

But thats the thing with Necron tech a Necron transport doesn't actually need to be large enough to have x amount of Necrons "embarked" on it only a portal large enough for them to disembark from like the Monolith as they can actually be "embarked" elsewhere and teleported in via the transport.
Giving the transports a actual transport capacity unlike the Monolith (at least at present anyway...) is likely more due to mechanical reasons, from a fluff perspective you could sell it that the transports power matrix or whatever is not powerful enough to displace more than the transport capacity or more than a single squad at one time.

Necrons have TARDIS-esque technology, they can fit massive areas into little spaces. A Necron transport need only be the size of an, I don't know, phone-box, and it could fit 10, 15, 20 Necrons.

There is no confirmation. It's Games Workshop, giving their customers a hint to their releases would actually make us hope.
