@ZergSmasher - Thanks, I figure I'll make a small run into finishing a whole squad, Hector Rex only needs three to make 12, so that's up next

@Januine - Thank you!

@SW - Many thanks

@Moonie - How do I do it? With lime and a shovel, wait you're not talking about disposing of bodies are you... well this is awkward.

@KT - Cheers, that was what I was going for, I didn't want just imperial guard transports, I wanted specific Inquisition people movers.

@SirRamirez - And no one will expect the imperial inquisition!

Update: Just need three models to flesh out Hector Rex's retinue, so here they are

I don't think these guys are your best work Knightley. I don't see a single squiggle!

Great job on those tanks though!

@Ice - Hahah I know right, I'm letting the side down with the lack of squiggles.

@SW - Yep, still WIP, they'll all get a wash and highlights shortly, not sure on the flamer though, his face seems a bit miscast, maybe I can do something with it.

Update: More base colours applied

I think a group of vehicles depends on the kind of vehicle. For example, a large unit of Eldar Falcons, is a Zoom of Falcons. However a large unit of wave serpents is a Crash of Serpents. A large unit of Piranhas is of course a Bite of Piranhas. When we discuss the terminology around Imperial Vehicles and their squadrons, they are typically kept with squadrons, except Rhino's and Razorbacks are of course Herds. Now if we were orks, of course, every group of any kind of vehicle would simply be a Bunch of (insert name of tank).

I hope that helps.

@Mad - Cheers man, you see the AB's game on Sunday, what great game!

@Ice - Hahah, that got a great laugh out of me, a zoom of falcons! what would you call a group of Necron Fliers, a bakery of Doomscythes? what about a bunch of Tyranid fliers being a birth of harpys? I wish to know more

Update: Blacks blues and browns all taken care of should be all done tomorrow

Thanks Gits, the full first squad is now done

Update: three models done, lets get some pictures eh?

Squat sniper (converted from a dwarf gunner from fantasy - In metal might I add)

Human Assassin (Conversion from a DE Wyche, note the rounded ears - that was a pain to do)

Human Flamer (strait old metal Ice warrior with flamer)

And Hector Rex with his lads

Looking brilliant, yeah you probably had fun doing those ears, but definitely worth it. And loving the expression on the flamer's face, like he is muttering to himself "burn, buuuuuurn, buurrrrrnnn...."

@KT - Thanks mate, he has a crazed look to him and I think the miscast really makes it work like a crazy man

@Graven - Yes I am, being able to lavish some details on each henchman is very refreshing, having had these guys looking at me for so long being able to paint them is well worth the wait.

@Januine - Ah Gaunt's Ghosts, this guy would fit right in! I wish I had remembered the book as I think it would have been a fitting touch to have the flamer in the old yellow style of 2nd edition

@LDP - Cheers buddy, I have to be careful not to peak to early I have over 30 of these guys to paint and I want each one to look amazing, I'd hate to burn out quickly.

@Mad - Thank you, do they at least look to fit together as a squad?

@EDC - Perhaps I should be come a plastic surgeon (get it?? god I crack my self up some times)

Update: The kit bashed Coteaz is up next base colours, no washes yet. As always I am open for comments

Knightley, it may just be the picture angle but it looks as though his hammer will be resting on the ground. Is he really holding it that low?

@Gits - Thanks Gits, If wanted to I'd dedicate more time to blending the cloak a bit more, but time is money and I want these guys done by Christmas

@Ice - Yeah basically, the hammer, arm and should are all metal, when it was higher the model tipped and was a bit unbalanced, so I have it just resting on the ground (just the tip) and it sits much better

@WW - I know, skill wash was by far the best thing GW ever came out with

Update: Bronze mixed with silver applied, inside cloak done

Coteaz looks really good too, I love your kitbash as I am not a fan of GW's. His hammer reminds me a little of Thors

Keep up the awesome work Knightley!

Coteaz looks pretty good already, I can hardly wait until he's finished! That cloak is exceptional, how did you do it? I'm still trying to figure out how to get cloaks and stuff to look right.

@SW - Thanks man, I wasn't a fan of the GW model either, but after using him in a game or two I very quickly realised I needed this guy on my side. Then with some bits from Graven the idea was born.

@ZG - The outside of the cloak was just the base red paint (can't recall the name at the moment) then a brown wash, then the same base red leaving the shade in the darker areas, then a mid red for most of the raised areas, then blood red for the very raised areas then finally a light brown to top it off.

Update: Model done C&C welcome. If I wasn't in such a rush I would do the armour highlights again and give it a final mithril silver final highlight
