So it appears I've pledged for the following

1xAlien Queen
2xAlien Warriors
1xPretorian (+1xPretorian free I guess)
2xPredalien
1xCrusher

1xHellhounds
2xYoungbloods

plus the free Zerker, model and add-on, which I guess will be another box of Aliens and either another female Pred or Pretorian.

There goes three hundred pounds, just like that... KS is worse that goddamn heroin.

Didn't miss too much. At that point we knew the 380,000 gbp SG was going to happen and the 2k pledgers was a shoe in. Although it depends at what point you stopped watching. For me, after the Weyland soldiers were unlocked, anything else would be gravy. And man those double sided tiles being free is good gravy.

I couldn't watch at all today due to holiday travel, but I did get the email updates and caught up on the thread. Really stoked by how well this did!

Ditto on the success towards the end.

Now I'm just excited to get my stuff and what's coming in the future.

Prodos mentioned a jungle scenario expansion later on which I can't wait for.

Also, I'm really curious to see how they're going to separate Weyland soldiers from the marines. For now they said they belong on the "humans" side. I'm hoping they're more than just reskins of marines. But if they aren't, I still won't be disappointed since I love me some evil humans.

Exciting Exciting! So many goodies!

Hope they update the little chart with the addons and such. Did they say if the 2000 backer was per Pledge or per person?

I’m sure glad GW is going to all plastic, so the ever-rising cost of white metal won’t impact the cost of their miniatures.

In the end, I stuck with my 75 pounds and called it a day.

Great that they finished strong, hope that means a shorter delay.

yeah,
So is it too early to search out trades...!??

I'm gonna have a spare set of predators from the second boxed game.
If anyone is interested in organising a trade for Aliens hit me with a PM.
Preference will be to trade within the UK... (ideally London!)

I've watched this one since the start and despite my TV recently exploding and the new purchase breaking the bank, I found room for a "Payback Time!" pledge. Looking forward to it.

As far as I can tell that gets me 80quid worth of addons (60 +10 free +10 for the child).

With the Anytime thing, the "thanks" they talk about... Does anyone know if that going to be our names in the book itself or just some generic thank you? If it's the former, I feel obliged to spend some of my addons on the hardcover book for a nice, slick copy of our good deeds.

My understanding is they did the same with Malifaux?

I'm in at "You Want a Piece of Me? You Ugly Son of a …"

I'll be selecting, assuming I've got my numbers correct,
The Box Game,
3x Dice sets (one of each faction)
1x Queen,
5x Warriors,
5x Marines,
1x Powerloader,
5x Weyland-Yutani Commandos,
1x Female Predator,
3x Youngbloods,
2x Hellhounds,
3x Predators,
1x Alien Eggs,
1x Weapons pack,
1x Predator Ship Tiles,

I'll get a free Sgt, the sentry guns, two Berserkers, a set of Resin Tokens (Marine ones), a Praetorian, and the Rule book.

I know I could get better value by taking a free marine squad and buying the Sgt with pledge credit, but this is neater.
That £8 model really throws off the final total.

If the thought of something makes me giggle for longer than 15 seconds, I am to assume that I am not allowed to do it.

This is a warning so that people don't accidentally buy it, right? Because no one in their right mind would intentionally purchase that game.

I personally feel that $20 was a good price for that statue of a Marine in Power Loader fighting an Alien.

No, I intentionally purchased it once on Steam...for like $5.

Even for $5, I have to say it was kinda "Meh."

Went in for 'Payback Time' in the end - started adding bits and pieces to the basic £75 boxset, but then thought it would probably make sense to go for that pledge with the freebies and then work it out later!

I wonder if they'll give them some rules for 'alien proof armour' if they're based on the Alien³ design, maybe not able to get facehuggered and such.

Also does anyone know if there is a fully up to date version of the excell pledge calculator thing yet?

Edit: Don't worry I found one.

Only cheaper if you don't count the time/skill it takes to make it, especially in plasticard. I have the Khurasan one, and feel the price was very good for what I got.

Gah.
Card got declined for some reason.
Now I have to move my funds to another account, and do it that way.

Hoping to buy another 'Looking Good' pledge at some point next year. So hope they're still doing that.

Unfortunately, you're right Alpharius. But at least it means we got the 2000 backers bonus

After trading a few items with another pledger, I should hopefully have:

3 Queens
3 Crushers
2 Praetorians
6 PredAliens
40 Warriors
AvP rulebook

...and 5 facehuggers to decorate Queen bases with. Plus a dozen eggs from another source

Pricey, but should be awesome to behold!

Definitely a roller coaster ride. The deal improved enough recently to warrant a second look but in the end I just didn't feel it personally. I'll definitely pick up a predalien and female pred though when they hit the store shelves to go along with my clix. Since you guys will be getting them early, I look forward to seeing early preview pics as the backers start to get their minis.

Same here.

If the game gets good reviews, I will probably pick up the rulebook and maybe the boxed game to use with my large AVP Horrorclix collection. If they ever do one piece figures, I will buy a ton of those as well.

This is my reaction as well. Might grab the rulebook at some point, and maybe a squad of the Yutani troopers. However the Colonial marines were the main selling point for me and the price per trooper was to high for me to acquire the platoon of marines that I'd want.

Still, I'm glad it did well. Should prove a nice entre' into wargaming for non-wargamers, and it's definitely a nice addition to the selection of wargames currently available. I hope it delivers a good product and sells well into the future.
