You have no way of knowing if they are real or not except that you don't like his style of posting. It may be really from the codex or it may be attention seeking crap, but we have no way to know.

I'll wait for more reliable confirmation of any of these rumors, though they do sound plausible. Scything talons being AP6 with no additional abilities (other than +1 attack) make them perfect cheap add-ons for melee MC's (as long as the points for adding them makes sense).

As to the zoanthropes' rule -- we've seen the warp blast entry from the Psychic Cards photos in the white dwarf. The only thing I can consider that would be akin to the IG psyker battle squad is if a full unit of 3 zoanthropes can "converge" their powers and get a bigger blast or better AP on the warp blast attack....but that's just a guess.

Let's see if anyone else gets an early copy and starts leaking data. C'mon Germany, where you at??

Also had to roll my eyes at the Crushing Claws "help against vehicles". Other than now being available to Tyrant Guard, Crushing Claws are only available to MCs (who already have Smash). Destroying vehicles in CC has never exactly been a tyranid weak point.

According to rumor the Black Library page, they would only get the +1 attack if they have ANOTHER set of CC weapons (e.g.: rending claws, crushing claws, scything talons, etc.). So one set by itself is meaningless.

They have to take two pairs of melee biomorphs to benefit from the +1 attack. Thus just taking scything talons as stock, when you take another gun is pointless. They only benefit CC builds. Furthermore, they are absolutely useless on Tervigons. Unless there is a difference between MC Scything Talons and Non-MC Talons.

Anyone know what hq upgrades are going to be for the new codex. Like space marine relics i mean?

I'm making a aliens themed army and reading some of the fluff on the Tervigon it seem like the perfect Queen alien. Even the model has what looks like the egg sack. Problem is most posts i read say its a bad idea using them as a hq, as you can take them as troops for every 30 guants.

Nothing is a "bad idea" if you like it, despite what the internet list group-think says.
