The results of the survey that I did last week have been the following of the 4 options I explain as has been:

49.4% - Lanzanos denounce alone.
18.5% - Wait for the complaint that there are today.
11.8% - Joint Civilian Complaint Lanzanos and the patrons.
20.3% - Keep waiting.

Of a total of 994 answers (totals were 1,260 responses to the survey and filtered 266 votes)
Since last week, the Lanzanos´s lawyer is preparing the complaint. Thanks to you we have almost 20 Gb of videos, documents and articles of Dionisio. The documents contradict each other and give dates completely wrong and outdated.

Also he calls all patrons the shipping costs of the rewards and he knew that he didn´t have the rewards ready. The complaint was sent to the court but when I knew anything I will say you.

I also ask the patrons who have gone to the workshop, that tell us their impressions to share with all patrons through these newsletters.

On these bulletins if you're patrons of Lánzanos or you have pre purchased the game through its website and these emails didn´t arrive to you, please email me but keep in mind that many ISP cut mailings because this email is sent to 5000 recipients, maybe some email goes to SPAM or are cut, so I invite you to do public forums or where they believe appropriate.

Not sure that this will mean the backers get their stuff any quicker - or at all.

As I feared it's the legal route. Only 1/4 of backers responded and a quarter of those were ineligible votes.

There was some details posted about the solo case taken by a backer on BGG https://boardgamegeek.com/thread/1607242/gzs-allegations-ongoing-legal-claim-single-backer

It doesn't sound like it's going all that well for him though. Interestingly Lanzanos did have a representative at the hearing.

I am not surprised by the low response rate and high proportion of spoiled votes. The ballot confused me, and I still have no indication my vote properly registered.

The process should have been localised into English French and German, and simplified to include radial buttons.

There was no need for the whole textwall to be translated, just a line or two explaining the situation and then simplified vote option.

Still a de facto vote on Spanish speaking backers is enough of an indication to take action on. The demographic should be fairly even.

I am concerned that ANY chance we had of GZ completing and shipping this game at any point in the future will now go up in smoke as a result of legal pressures (which I don't think will result in anything for those of us who are backers).

On a lighter note.... I'm enjoying the critical move video that recently posted. I'm glad that there is a dice roll that will allow me to avoid vertical TRAMPS!!

I thought the same but then decided Lanzanos wants HQ25 to succeed since HQ25 is the largest (?) Project Lanzanos has. So they are liable to do all they can to make it so.

I think in the meantime enjoy other games, play some Zombicide and forthcoming Conan, hopefully things will come out in the wash and we will get a surprise knock on the door one day :(

So Lanzanos have instigated legal proceedings but only on their own behalf and only for damages related to their corporate image. They are not seeking anything on backers behalf. They are seeking to retain €17,500 they withheld as a deposit as the damages. Apparently this is in accordance with the survey result as 49% voted that they should act on their own. I don't think people realised that this was what was intended when they voted.

So Lanzanos cover themselves and leave backers hanging in much the same position as before?

It may not be too late to discourage Lanzanos from taking legal action. The quickest way is to contact Lanzanos. I often write messages in English and Spanish using google translate.

That article is from 20th January 2016 I wouldn't read much into it now. HQ25 has been "coming soon" for a long time now. I doubt it will be delivered in 2016 (if it ever is).

What is a soft release? Forward release of the ruleset or a normal release but without fanfare. Or something else.

Expocomic is just another target goal, Gamezone might not make that, but it would be nice if it were.

Aitor, who's been following the Darkstone forums, translated from the official release that it still won't be sold. A little odd that this event will be at a comic book convention, but, whatever.

My own guess is that Dionysius (sp) may be looking for additional funds or investors. He's already taken a loan. They've already asked for shipping a *long* time ago and didn't ship, so that money has been spent.

That being said, GZ *is* making other miniatures for other companies. "Recently, a darkstone user bought a whole amazon fantasy football team from a company that were casted using Gamezone resin. (The miniatures were originally in metal.) According to him, all miniatures were okay at first, but after some days they bent and deformed to some extent all by themselves."

Now, I know GZ has been having problems making resin figures, but I assumed that was only caused by changing the resin formula because of the dye formula Dionysius wanted to use, or because of the thinness of the sculpts. I've forgotten if part of the problem was with his own staff's training in resin spin crafting figures. IIRC, He didn't have any staff before GZ funded.

It sounds promising at least, I wouldn't count on it actually turning up until it ends up at my front door though :p
