You have no idea. I started having the warcraft 3 theme song come on in my head.
I will call the new character the Lich King, until I am proven wrong and that is not his name.
Both are badasses by the looks of it. (also from what I've heard they are working on a Warcraft movie and television show)

Cersie never actually let him in, he just came in after knocking a long time. I'm sure there is a valid spousal rape discussion you can have with the whole scene, but this is not the place for it.
Bran needs to jump into poor Hodor and go "Hodor Smash" on the traitors!

I'm pretty sure they didn't since Bran had coldhands guiding him by that point
Yeah, that's what I thought. They're beginning to change a lot in the series. I guess they did it so it's still surprising for the readers. The question is though how they are going to get Bran out of there before Snow finds him; if they meet it will be too different from the book. Not sure I liked the ending. They should have kept the mystery of what happens to the babies near the end of the series. Those creatures' "temple" was pretty cool (ha ha!) though. Very eldritch looking.

I disagree about holding the baby thing and development of the great enemy till later in the show. That's part of the problem with the books right now. Everything is focused around people who only care about their slice of the pie and it's narrowing the world now that your POV characters aren't the ruling heads of state. Letting us know the bigger picture keeps it from turning into "Days of our Lives" the medival edition.

It's a change they're going to have to make to keep viewers interested from episode to episode and season to season. The plot needs to *feel* like it's still advancing...even if it's stalling a little.
1. Lady Arran claims to have killed Lord Arryn for her love of Lord Baelish. What the fethedy feth?
2. Why does Arya's list include people like the Red lady?
3. Poor Sansa having to listen to her Aunt on her wedding night then all those accusations
4. The Lannisters running out of Gold? I bet Lord Tywin wished he really did gak gold then
5. Interesting chat between Prince Oberron and Cersei
6. You'd think that Jon Snow & Friends would have been a lot stealthier at the start of the battle for Crasters considering how stealthy their ranger was: although the duel at the end was pretty sweet.
7. We finally get to see Bran's ability to take humans (Albeit Hodor) and not just animals like "regular" wargs

2. Why does Arya's list include people like the Red lady?
Spoiler:
They probably changed her list to indclude people that we're more familiar with in the show. Her original list includes a lot of people glossed over and barely mentioned, some outright removed. Her list in the book is below, and was just people she personally met or knew they were responsible for wrongdoing to her.
King Joffrey. Ser Amory. The Tickler. Polliver. Ser Gregor. Raff the Sweetling. Chiswyck. Weese. Ilyn Payne Meryn Trant Queen Cersei Dunsen The Hound

I liked the sword in the head, but I kinda knew something like that was coming when the guy turned his back. So does John Snow become the leader of the black watch or whatever? Seems like they're building up to that.
I didn't expect sersei to give that girl her blessing to marry her other son. I wonder if Balish was pissy that he went to all that trouble to get a present for that kid, and he just threw it down into the pit of despair like it was nothing.
But the whole dragon lady thing.. yawn. Another 5 minutes wasted that could have been spent on other characters I care about. I think my biggest gripe with this show is there are way too many storylines... maybe it works in the books better, but on TV it just feels like a whole bunch of separate stories that are all so different. Following 2 people here, 2 people there, 1 guy here, another guy there...
Same reason I didn't care for the latest season of walking dead as much too, everyone's all separated wandering around.

Different path of characters start coming together again in the last book. Still two more books to go and now I'm wondering if Martin going to finish off his books via TV series That will PMTFO

i've said it before. If he keeps the same writing pace he did for the last two the entire show series will be done before the release of the next book. Let alone the other one that is supposed to finish the series.
Besides. Going by the writing and actual content of the last two books it might be best if the saga is finished by HBO and not Martin....

I figure the bits with the Others/White Walkers, raid on Craster's, etc. are previews of things to come, with seasons of the show lining up less nicely with books or half-books.
Things from the next two books will probably get shuffled around (we've already seen some of this to a minor degree with events in book 3) and more "filler" sequences will probably be added, not unlike what you see with manga-to-anime conversions.
I hope they go into detail about other stuff Martin has left un-detailed, such as Loras' fate or what really happened to the Wildlings trapped at Hardhome.

I am the opposite - I am bored stupid by Fat Sam, Jon Snow and the wall of pointlessness - lets face it the Walkers are apparently too scared of melting to venture south as they are wondering around apparently lost with their zombie army. I hope they ignore Dan's personality descent that GRRM invlificted on her in Dance. Even worse is Bran and co - kill 'em all and move on
Enjoyed most of the last half of recent Walking Dead season as they did some chacarter stuff rather than being stuck in the prison - yawn.

I read somewhere that GRRM has told the HBO people how the main storylines work out, just in case he dies.

Lord Baelish is turning out to be quite the cad! Although we already knew that from his treachery of Ned Stark, it's obvious he's actually one of the nastier (and extremely power-hungry) characters behind the scenes.
Wonder if he is now going to start moving into the 'everyone's most hated.. ' slot vacated by Geoffrey?

Glad to see the leader of the mutineers got his comeuppance, and well done for show creators making it suitably gory as per normal!

I don't think it's always been entirely about 'power' for Baelish, not entirely. I think his character is a bit more complex than that.
For example, he's not really power hungry, as overt power would be far too much work and, boring. Speaking, class-wise, he's pretty much an incredibly minor Lord, controlling a handful of rubbish islands. In my view, he's happy to have others hold The Power, as long as whichever way they hold it, he gets to feel superior to them. He doesn't want to rule, but he's perfectly happy to have everyone dancing to his tune.
This desire, I think ends up tying in to the experiences from the past that Lysa was talking about. As a young man, Baelish loved Catelyn, but, of course, he was trumped by the Stark's being the Lords of the North and all the awesomeness that being a Stark comprises.

The "Ranger" that was killed by Hodor is "Locke" and was sent by Roose Bolton to eliminate Brann and Rickon. So Roose Bolton can claim the "North" as the remaining North Lords rally behind him instead of Bran.

Almost felt like they are trying to give Dany more of a reason for not having moved to Westeros yet, more explicitly than in the books at least. Although it does feel a bit like they are just having to cover for bad writing on Martin's part.
I wonder when Cold Hands is finally going to join the mix.
