We still have November people. It’s not the holidays yet, we’ve got plenty of time and a whole other contest between now and then! Although if we skip November, I don’t need to get a year older. Sounds like a fair trade. Merry Christmas everyone!
Although if we don’t get focused on the spooks, ghosts, goblins, etc, we are all going to end up on the naughty list.

Then comes along the frakking Spinosaurus who kills the T-rex, and the movie says "LOVE THIS NOW! HE IS BETTER" But...in your heart, you love the T-rex, who shouldn't have lost to no stupid Spinosaurus. So you hate the movie. And refuse to love the Spinosaurus because it is a hamfisted attempt at taking what you loved, making it TREX +++ and trying to sell you it.

@ CREEEEEEEEED, that is lovely. I have a WWI themed trench guard using the West Wind heads with the Cadian arms and Bretonian peasant Archer and Men At Arms bodies.
You say that I am crazy. I say that you are right!

I'm in. I'll enter my "Frankenstein's Dreadnought". It's part of a Halloween themed chaos army that I'm trying to do in it's entirety during the month of October... so getting this one model done is the LEAST of my problems!

I just got her in and felt like painting her up, hence my initial question. I am the builder type and painting (while part of the hobby) feels like a slight chore to me; so maybe she will help me get into painting 40k more.

Moebius Models they also make a 1/6th Centurian (would be a nice Necron Titan conversion) and a few others the models they have are nice as well and really detailed, just need to be careful on the build as there are a lot of spots for gaps.

So I got some more work in on the librarian, I am waiting on a mk 4 shoulder pad to get in. I am probably going to keep that black to fit the fluff for librarians.
Update! Finished off my Honor Guard member I've been working on and am now beginning work on the Death Company marine I'll be painting for this month's contest. Let's face it, if you're going to be charged, there are few things more terrifying to be charged by than a marine wracked with images of his primarch's death and in a seething rage because of it. At least, that's my logic, anyway.
Here's the prepped and freshly base-coated mini. I'll be painting him piecemeal and doing sub-assembly as I reach milestones such as legs and torso, etc. Base is not pictured as I had forgotten to base coat it with the rest of the model, but I will post updated pictures later once I make some progress.
As with all my marines, I'll be starting with the helmet, then working my way down the model from there.
More to come soon. Thanks for looking, and take it easy.

You don't know me son, so I'll explain this to you once: If I ever kill you, you'll be awake, you'll be facing me, and you'll be armed.
