Fingers crossed for a Jenetia Krole mini sometime? I haven't seen much info outside of the Sisters transport for some new stuff or upgrades unless I've missed something.

Little bummed out about the lack of Rhinos for them as well since a fair amount of art has them using lots. Oh well!

There aren't really that many releases they could do for the Sisters, are there? Based on what they can take now anyway. Krole, Excruciatus Cadre, the "beasts" for the Pursuer Cadre, and maybe a weapon pack? Everything else can be built with the plastic kit.

I share your disappointment about the Rhinos. I get FW want to make their take on Custodes & SoS unique and visually distinct from the rest of the Imperium, but the fact that all these new factions & subfactions, in both 30K and 40K, don't even have the option to take Rhinos and similar supposedly-ubiquitous vehicles really undermines the whole "STC" idea. Also, I really really wanted a grav-Rhino kit

I think the Oblivion Knights will need a new kit too, with their fancy cloaks and all, as well as the HQ's. I agree that Sisters should have the option to take Rhinos, but can understand the Custodes not using them. The Custodes use bespoke stuff that is only not spread wider because it cannot be mass produced due to it's complexity, like Laustrum bolt shells. The Emperor has ensured his bodyguard get the rarest of experimental stuff before they eventually move into mass-production (which I assume was the ultimate goal for all the rare Custodes stuff that wasn't prohibited, but was halted by the HH).

I think the disappointment stems from the fact that Grav-Rhino's were long established as one of the cooler bits of Custodes fluff. I understand that FW is trying to set them apart from SMs, but Grav-Rhinos were sort of an iconic image of the Custodes.

Well from what I can tell art wise grav rhinos were only given to the Custodes? There is a particular picture called "The Emperors Gift". As well as a normal rhino with some Sisters exiting. Both are in Collected Visions.

I have been neglecting my 30+ prospero sisters for a while so I've got plenty to work on. Just need to flesh out a list. Bit of a SOS fan boy. Combine this with the new BL book about the war in the webway. My dreams are coming true.

Hmm... Varag is very mundane and low-key for an Orc. That's surprising, especially considering what his first and second incarnations were like, and especially after the great Zug mini we just got.

Kinda meh. The orc looks pretty much the same as the rest of the orc players.
The Daemon...I like the front part of the torso. The rest (especially feet and the lower back), look like the sculptor was too lazy to do anything with them. Exactly like with the previous Khorne daemon.

I don't hate space marines, I'm just tired of MEQ/TEQ elite infantry (there, happy?) completely dominating FW's release schedule, to the point where everything else is neglected almost entirely. Where's the Tau book we've been waiting on for ages? Where's some acknowledgement that IG still exist? Where's an update for IA8, which is now what, two full editions out of date? Remember when FW used to do cool stuff for every faction, not just an endless parade of shoulder pads and contemptor dreadnoughts?

To be honest though, with the heresy in full swing it's to be expected that marines are centre stage with releases.

My tyranids have been neglected for ages though, to the point they have had 1 model more recently released (dimachaeron) and then a ton of stuff discontinued lol.
Just sell me the carnifex upgrades sans the fex.
I rather buy a cheap one for £15 off ebay then an upgrade kit.
Allows me to use magnets without paying over £50 for 1 fex.

I also remember when FW had most of their releases timed around the books, and then nothing for ages. And when they didn't, it was almost always an IG superheavy tank.

I know what is wrong with Varag; he looks exactly like an alternative generic orc blitzer would. He doesn't have that "Star Player" feeling.

Otherwise, I like this model. It's not flashy, indeed, but as a regular orc blitzer, it's quite in line. And yes, love the squig ball as well.

I've not seen anything suck as hard as Varag does from FW in a long time. He's not as good as the normal Ork blitzer and will cost more than that model plus all of the rest of an ork team.

If it's from Mierce then I know what they really "cut" in order to sell it as a FW model.

Varag looks fine to me, I'm surprised at these comments. Maybe not a homerun, but he's nicely understated and would make a great alternate blitzer as Sarouan posted.
