Plonked my buck down for the PM. I'm more okay with them being less visually differentiated, but that's because I'm literally looking at this as a bunch of chaos marauders, some scenery, and some tiles I might use for role-playing or whatever. The game itself doesn't look interesting enough in any way to make it worth playing over other my many other choices in my limited gaming time.

Same, and for the same reasons. I'm hoping that by the time the PM rolls around, the ebay pricing for Rising Sun will have stabilised(especially for single models), that way I'll be able to get a rough idea how much of the hundred quid I'll be able to claw back flogging duplicates and most of the Princes - whether I go for it in the end will depend on that more than anything else, since I like a lot of the models but not quite enough to make the price worth it for "boardgame plastic" as it stands.

I'm the target audience for this game but am drowning in unpainted miniatures and unplayed Kickstarter games. I see that they made all the add-ons the actual content that is must-have/cool, etc. which makes sense...because who's gonna buy all the samey-barbarians as add-ons when you already have the cool lizard guys, fungus guys, and stuff in the main box?

I have some money set aside for Necromunda Gang War 2, the Orlocks and accessories, and the new tiles.... and possibly Malign Portents...but am hovering over the 'pledge' button on this because, I dunno, reasons? FOMO I guess?

I’m out because $125 for base pledge, $206(I think) for all add ons, my budget is tight and I have that mountain of figs like you. I like his art, but the fact I have to poop all the funds down in Kickstarter and not later at the FLGS or through a discounted means bothers me and I don’t want to reward them for that behavior.

With all the stuff I have unpainted and/or still on the way, I can't afford to HATE right now.

Yeah, I'm going to show some restraint here and pass...there is some nice stuff here...I'm just drowning in minis and games I haven't finished and don't have enough time to paint or play everything Ive already got...

The overall game doesn't appeal to me, but I'm hoping that there is a kindhearted UK based soul out there who will let me piggyback on their pledge!

If there is any interest I'd be willing to split a core box a couple different ways so a group of us can have access to the add ons. I would prefer to just piggy back on someone else's pledge, but there seems to be enough of us that just want add-ons that we might be able to split a core box 3-4 ways. So basically you would pay $30-35 and get at least one of the base tribes +some extras + access to add-ons. PM me if you are interested. I'm located in northern California if anybody wants to arrange local pickup (north of the Bay)

I'm in SoCal and I don't mind taking some piggybacks, but you guys are going to have to chip in for shipping too.

In other news, the big meaty meat guy got unlocked, and this dude finally showed up-



PLUS- the best unkept secret tribe showed up as a bonus unlock for pledges from retailers and Chinese backers.



This effectively DOUBLES the entire base pledge- you get 2x the boards, tokens, tribes, and mercs, effectively being able to run two completely parallel games at the same time. Not bad.

Still want the exiled prince on a dino, but I'm pretty happy with the overall contents (and there's still a bit of time if they want to unlock more).

Cool, I'll probably go in when the PM comes up then, a quid per-mini after shipping is reasonable.

Not so sure about the optionals. I hope they unlock the worm dude though, I can definitely put him to use in Mordheim.

Well I broke down and popped in $1. Hopefully I can scratch up enough for a basic pledge. If we hit $1,450,000 then another prince sized guy shows up. That’ll be 103 figs 17 of them are larger sized. I’ll look again at the extras later. Hopefully they don’t hit with massive darkness II or another zombicide (any version) soon .

Worm is in, and now we desperately reach for a much requested figure...by myself.





...I swear there had been a size comparison with him as well, but it seems to have disappeared. Odd.

If previous campaigns are anything to go by, he'll end up in the box as well. He's got some crazy rules- he automatically starts defense rolls with 2 saves, and begins with 2 upgrades already attached to him to represent his grizzled and grim status as a survivor.

That last dude, the beastmen with the two swords. WOW.

He looks very Hordes-y.

I think they missed out with no neoprene mat and no big extras box.

An extras box may not be neccesary- if this is all exclusive anyways, we may see things all packaged together.

I doubt even CMON knows how they'll box it up yet. Personally, I'd love all the tribes to have individual boxes, have the board and components separate.

I believe the core box was already designed for production. I'm assuming (based on every cmon kickstarter back to zombicide 1) that all the stretch goals will be in a second large box, similar in size to the core set (like massive darkness).

All add ons will have their own boxes as not everyone will get them. I doubt they will skimp on the packaging/art as this game is focused on the art, storyline, and minis.

I backed for $1, but will be going all in once the manager is released. The dragonborn set is just too good... not to mention crossover capability for blood rage tribes, monsters for massive darkness, zombicide, etc. I'm sure folks on bgg will be making custom cards soon enough!

Same as me, backed Nemesis and this at $1, will throw all ins on Pledge Manager once done. I am going to 40k-ify and Nurgle-fy all the Hate minis. SO much opportunity, couldn't care less about the gameplay. Some of the most inspired minis with conversion potential I've ever seen.

I might late pledge. At first not interested at all. But over past 3 days the sculpts grew on me. Like the Lizardmen a lot. Is the graphic novel any good? Curious about the fluff on the story...

I really dug the books. At first I was a bit miffed with the serious lack of dialogue, but then I went back and spent some time just admiring the work that was put into it.

I would have preferred both books in one deluxe version however. Buying them individually isn't exactly cheap.

I late pledged. Really impressed with Rising Sun and fan of Adrian Smith.

I'll add the Lizardmen and the Mother Prophecy box too.

I'll hit Amazon or B&N for the graphic novels now I think.

Well, you ain't gonna get same quality minis you see on campaign. Those are resin, and later on they will make plastic. Which are not bad, but not on the same level as wargame stuff.

For example, this arrived recently, World of Smog, and this was KDM crossover, made by KDM team, so you can be assured of quality blueprints they sent...result:



Fine for boardgames(although not KDM,lol), but compared to wargames stuff, not at the same level.
