My cynical bet is that it's another Kickstarter that will launch soon so that they can capitalize on the Army of the Dead movie hype right now and gather lots of backers as pre-order jackpot.

I hope only a third of the rules on each page of the rulebook are printed in focus on each page to give you cinematic feel of the film and its six inch depth of field.

Yeah, I like her as an actress even though she basically only ever plays herself whether she's in a zombie movie or future dystopian apocalype scifi like modern Star Trek. She's kind of like Sofia Vergara in that regard.

Always like a good elephant. I wonder if the Golden Company will be a decent enough core to start a neutral army, like the Boltons. That might get me into the game.

The lack of Thorn Watch and the leaked Riders of Highgarden do make me wonder if there's stuff for the end of 2021/early 2022 we haven't seen. No Neutral Heroes 3 is also surprising when we're getting a lot of Golden Company stuff. Obviously there's the infamous Night's Watch Heroes 2 and presumably Free Folk Heroes 2 that needs to slot in somewhere too. I remember Michael being very insistent NWH2 never actually went up pre-order, it was just retailers doing so because the sculpts had been previewed.

Ooh, I didn't know the Thorn Guard got leaked. Are the riders of Highgarden a Renly Baratheon unit too?
It makes sense those would come out as Renly only has Rose Knights as his faction specific unit.

Apparently a bunch of playtesting cards were leaked. Confirmed the Thorn Gu- uhh, Watch as being crossbowmen and the Riders who are indeed a Renly unit. With Pikemen it rounds out both brothers getting three additional loyal units.

Him and a lot of people it seems. If I had to guess, I'd put Martells landing mid to late 2022 based on Covid/Asmodee's usual incompetence delaying Greyjoys from the end of 2020 to the middle of 2021.

EDIT: Next KS confirmed as Masters of the Universe
There is a reveal stream for the next KS today at 2PM EST (7PM BST)
This popped up on Youtube - so I'm guessing the 2 are related and they reference Revelations so they probably want to run it at the same time for publicity - remember CMON have the rights for North America and Archon for Europe so expect region restrictions.

I am not sure if I am right on this, but If I understand from reading the design notes, it's going to be an adventure-type game, something like Monolith's Conan game. Select a scenario, each with location and victory requirements. Then choose the heroes you want to use then use their powers and abilities in an RPG light style game.
While the Polish version is sounding like a He-man branded version of a pandemic where your heroes travel to the location on the map and try to fight the evil in that location.

You choose your faction (good or evil), choose your scenario then play against an overlord. There's a solo/co-op version too. But Monolith's Conan/Batman might be a close comparison. We'll have to see how the rules actually look.
We previously spoke on this subject (Article 4, to be precise) but just to recap: A unique aspect of the game is that the roles of the Controller and Player Characters can be interchanged. What this means is that the forces of the Heroic Warriors (He-Man, Man-At-Arms, etc) and the Evil Warriors (Skeletor, Evil-Lyn, etc) aren’t limited to one side. When setting up the game, the Players and Controller can elect which group they will individually control- If the players want to band together as the Heroic Warriors and put a stop to Skeletor’s dastardly schemes, they absolutely can… But if they want to take on the nefarious role of the villains, rampaging across Eternia instead, then that’s also an option. In the later scenario the Controller would then end up playing as the combined forces of the Heroic Warriors (and their Eternian allies).

We’re afraid we have some bad news for backers in Norway. Recent changes in Norway legislation have created severe difficulties for us to deliver pledges to the countries in our recent campaigns. Due to the value of the goods shipped we’re unable to register to the VOEC scheme, and for this reason our packages are suffering harsh impediments to cross the border, being held in customs for large periods of time and still eventually being returned.
The situation got to an unsustainable point where we have no other choice but to simply cease delivering pledges to Norway. We understand and share in your frustration, but regrettably we will be fully refunding all pledges to Norway and blocking any such pledges for the foreseeable future. Please note that although we can no longer ship to Norway, it is also possible for Norwegian backers to opt to receive the pledges in a different country (if they are able to) directly in the Pledge Manager when it releases.
Our Customer Service team is starting to work on reaching out to the identifiable Norwegian backers (the ones with the country identified in Kickstarter) to proceed with the refunds (if the address change is not wanted). For Norway backers that haven’t identified their country in Kickstarter and can't or don't want to change address, please make sure to reach out to
My copy of Ankh arrived last week BTW. Haven't had a chance to get a look inside yet (I know, I know, what's wrong with me) but it's a good indication that CMON are still healthy and functional, despite a few worries about accounts.
I wish we could get some updates on the ASoIaF updated card packs.
I am still livid that they sold me $200+ worth of fancy foil cards knowing they were outright rebooting every card in the game, and yet now if I want to play I am using ugly home-made print outs glued to Magic cards...

First impressions of the core game box for Ankh (haven't looked at the stretch goal box yet, which is just as big).
I think overall the components are similar quality to Rising Sun and Blood Rage. I do feel like the human-sized minis in Blood Rage were significantly better than those in either of the sequels, but that's probably OK. Mostly we buy these for the gameplay and the big monsters. Big monsters and gods are nice -- no bent weapons, which is a bonus. Some mold line cleanup will be required but nothing egregious. The giant scorpions with pharoah-style sarcophagi inside them are wonderfully creepy. You could definitely use a lot of this in an Egyptian-themed undead army or indeed just an Egyptian-themed army. That said, OTHER than the giant scorpions, not a lot of this is making me go "wow" out loud right now; whereas for me, most of the Blood Rage minis were "wow", and quite a lot of the Rising Sun big minis.
I've not played yet but a quick look at the rules suggests this has a lot of promise, and will play quite differently to its spiritual forebears. If Blood Rage was a Viking-themed re-imagining of Chaos In The Old World (and I certainly bought it as such, and was not disappointed), and Rising Sun was a Japanese-themed successor to Blood Rage that added in mechanics for formally making and breaking alliances (ditto), then this is, what, well. It's an Eric Lang game. It's probably simpler than Rising Sun. It's about gods battling not for territory (as in the previous two, at least to some extent) but for followers; for the hearts and minds of the people of Egypt. The mythological aspects are very strong, as is the understanding of how Egyptian cults seem to have functioned, and changed over the centuries. I think this will be at least as strongly themed as either of the others, and a little more strategic if anything: there doesn't appear to be any randomness other than in determining 1st player.
This also stands out for coming with 10 different scenarios, which look like they will play out quite differently.
Looking forward to giving it a shot!
EDIT: Opened the "Tomb of Wonders" KS stretch goals box too. There's some nice big critters in here, especially if you love crocodiles, and WHO DOES NOT LOVE CROCODILES. There's plastic playing pieces to replace some of the counters in the base game. There's not a whole lot of rules content -- a couple of gods who play differently to the core 5, some new guardians, etc., but I doubt there's going to be any major game-changers. Nice to have a bit of extra choice for when the core box gets stale, if it does, I guess? But it looks very like you can buy the retail box and still get huge value, especially if your main aim is to play some sweet Eric Lang games.

Silenced Men and Karstarks look great. I think the latter especially really highlight how far the sculpts have come since Stark Sworn Swords.
Thorn Watch look... okay? I'd need to see them painted, but the oddly modern-vibe to the art aren't doing them any favours.
Clegane Brigands look very ragtag, which whilst suitable clashes with the usual Lannister uniformity. Again I'd need to see them painted to have a strong opinion.
