Keep in mind that is the original kit.
Speaking as a fan and not as the community coordinator for a moment, I'd hazard that the jager will also be adjusted when worked onto new frames for wargames atlantic.

Wait... so instead of making them shorter to match other 28mm figures, they've just made them skinnier...?
Well yes, but when it comes to scale that's not a bad thing. The height will likely be on par with other miniatures from their range, but their more chunky style gets slimmed down, making them a bit more streamlined. I am happy with the change, as they'll fit in nicely with their WW1 Germans which I am going to convert to Atreides House Guard on Caladan, and with those and this new box I will have both regular Guardsmen and Scion types to use in a Kill Team. I'm really looking forward to buying these when they come out!

I'm actually hoping for a rerelease of the vehicles. I have one, but they stopped selling them before I could muster up the will to get a second, and now I regret missing getting a second (or even a 3rd).

Since he's been on Dakka for a while it's easy to find Mark:

Thread won't let me quote it so I can't move it here easily but given that some people may not get that it's a joke told six years ago to poke fun at the "industry standard", I figure the link to context is a tiny bit safer.

I jumped on that bandwagon, got three Hanomags, got the heavy power armor sets, the command staff and the other sets. I even have the plastic leviathan.
Stormtroopers
heavy weapopns
Valkir tacticals
Valkir heavy weapons,
Valkir Melee
command and support set
Command staff
Panzerjeagers
Hanomags x 3 (THor/Loki and Stuka zu Fus variants}
Leviathan(Waiting to get around to adding LED lights
I was also super interested in the protectorate troopers.

I really hope they do the Eisenkern APC with proper hard plastic wheels. Possibly re-designed ones, since I'm not a fan of the hubcaps either, but I'll settle for just being able to paint them with no fear of chipping due to soft material.

That's good. Unlike many others I don't want Wargames Atlantic to do the vehicles. Plastic vehicles should be the cherry on top of the successful companies cake, not something you lead with.
I think the economics of multi sprue vehicles only make sense at very large scales.
I look forward to seeing what else WGA has lined up for the future.

I wouldn’t mind seeing something like jetbikes, jet packs or hoverdisks. Make them like a historical cavalry horsie sprue, with a universal design that can be tailored using army specific bits (perhaps from the heavy weapon kits).

I hope sales allow them to do the regular Valkir Heavy Troopers.
I tried to buy them when they were available, but had no use for 20. Even a pack of 10 would have been better (with more reasonable shipping).
I love the work Wargames Atlantic have done. Hope they keep it going.

Well, if they don’t match we can always use the DFG versions as an elite unit, Malevolent Malloy’s Panzerjager Antitank Warfare Grenadiers.

There are a few on the market. Mantic springs to mind. plus there is 3D printing.
I don't want to rule out anything mind you. everything is possible for wargames atlantic to do.

I know they said any vehicle is a LONG way off. Quite frankly, for how new they are they have done exceptionally well in cranking out good plastic infantry kits over several genres.
Now, that being said, here's my fantasy wish list for vehicles: A slightly scaled down and simplified version of the 28mm Leviathan (slightly bigger than the original DF Resin 15mm one). How many sprues did the original one have, 10? With a rescaling and simplification if they could get it down to 5 sprues (or 6 with added arm options) it would be awesome. Also, I know I've mentioned the Black Widow Walking Tank before. I truly believe that you can get a simplified version of that on 2 unique sprues, plus 3x repeat sprue.

Most of their infantry kits seem to come with one or two sprues repeated several times. A 5 sprue walker would probably have to cost 2.5 to 5 times as much as the infantry box to make the same amount of money per sprue type (assuming similar sizes and costs per sprue), so roughly $100-175 per walker box. The only way I can see this being an attractive option is if they triple or quadruple up each of the sprues (little additional cost) and make each box into a squad of walkers. I just don’t see how this could work for them at this point.

Yeah, I agree, it's why I called it a wish list. WGA are the new guys. New guys knocking it out of the park in my opinion, but still the new guys. They need to consolidate their gains and not bite off too much.

We appreciate the kind words.
As to consolidation, we've followed up the grognards with a heavy weapons/command box.

And I love that. The Grognards fit my idea of a grimdark imperial guard. Having options for heavy weapons and command will make them much more appealing. If there were a method for making Commissars, I’d be all over that.
To be clear, I’d also love to see you expand the Death Fields setting in both lore and tabletop range. Right now you’re the go-to company for minis when I read a Black Library IG book and feel inspired. With the Eisenkern, that inspiration expands to Inquisition books, etc..
I look forward to the day when there’s at least a rulebook’s worth of Death fields fluff, even if it is near-parody levels of “the Fargate aliens kidnapped the Finbari and made them fight the J’dai Masters and the Goldshirts.”

Right now we are concentrating on model lines, rather than rules or rulebooks. As I've continued to say, however, nothing is above possibility.
As to commissars, I'm sure some of the command options will help you theme a Grognard to your fancy. He could even have a table with the wine bottle/glass we've seen on the example miniature.
