I like the standing gunner in the Heavy Weapons Squad, it's really bad-ass. And the pointy KKK hat in pic 2 is just.. Awkward.

All the heads are sculpted up from scratch in GS - wip photos can be found in my blog.

Feel I should also point out that the Sargent's hat isn't really a "KKK" hat, headgear like that dates back to the middle ages and beyond. I'm certain I've seen some artwork depicting executioners at witch trials wearing such hats.

While they look great they don't look chaosy enough in my opinion with the exception of the psyker battle squad. They're too clean and uniform, to me they look like they could just be normal IG with gas masks.

Oh and what was said earlier about the seargent haveing a "kkk" hood is right. Hoods like that have been in use alot longer then the kkk has existed, including being used by various orders of the church. It's safe to assume that the model has no racial implications.

Before I stumbled on this post (like a few hours before) I picked up a box of the Kings of War Ghouls. The figs are very cool with loads of detail but they seem very small when trying to put them together. Once you get the hang of them and put a few together they look freakin' awesome!

They are a good deal at $14.99 for a box of 10 but there are only 3 different heads, 2 different torsos and 2 different sets of legs.

Adding GS to make then stand up is a great idea.

Fantastic color choice for the renegades! There isnt anything I dislike about this group;everything has been superbly done right down to the bases! Great shading on the pants.

Very cool, I like their sense of disorder. I especially like the guy with the Heave Bolter - he'll kill himself before he kills anyone else! Oh and great use of the Ghouls... Mantic FTW!

i really like these dudes except one guy from the veterans squad may come across as being alittle KKKish. Nice models though havnt seen these guys painted b4.
