Subject: New to 40k, Hows it goin?

Hey, I am CrazyJHL, and I am new to the miniature war gaming hobby. As a kid I was a huge fan of Legos, and once I hit those awkward teen years I wanted to get into 40k (I love putting things together, sometimes augmenting them into something different than what they were intended to be). Sadly, due to my lack of funds at the time, it was not possible to do so. As a graduate student I am fairly busy, but I needed a new hobby to blow off steam. 40k seemed like a good idea, a great alternative to MMOs, and while I may not have time to play a full game I find that painting models helps me unwind.
Right now I am working on 3 armies: Blood Angels, Black Templar, and Night Lords (might end up something else). I also am doing some Dreadknight conversions (this particular model is very versatile). Might start a blog as well, so I keep up with the painting.

I find the painting one of the most fun things about the hobby other than seeing your well painted army smash the living hell out of another. Been kind of busy the last few days, but I found time to hop back on here. I added you as a friend today, somewhat surprised at how easy things are on this site.
