I've been painting the other burnas orange, which isn't that exciting, so I'll leave you ith a pic of all the finished burnagrots, with my dakkagrot standing in for a mek to make a legal unit

Awesomesauce: Thanks! I've been thinking about repainting the baserim of the dakkagrot if I would ever use a mek in my burna unit. Still, with the current rules it's not very good, especially since they're usually joined by a big mek. Still, I like having the option

Now, for some new pics. I got the first set of three blacked in again, and got the other three oranged up, meaning all burnagrots have at least the orange done on them! I've been getting my taste for painting back lately, so I thought I'd dive in. It's nice to see the army advancing again!





Lets hope I can keep this up. I've been painting some regular grots as well to prevent burnout, so I have good hopes of getting my 1750 list finished somewhere around March. There's a tourney in February as well, but I'm not risking it since I don't want to rush the little guys. Guess my guard will be having another outing then .

bigfish: If they could take a truck, it would. But in my list, I don't have units with access to trukks bar the meganobz, and they have a BW ride already. Plus, starting out of a vehicle T1 doesn't seem like a good idea with these guys. And I'm only posting updates fast because I do one area at a time they're hardly finished... Though I'll admit I've been slower

Still, they're looking good CK. And the end is in sight, after all - do you have an event you're aiming to have them ready by?

how are you fielding them then?
fluff wise it would have to be a looted wagon with schorcha IMO but if you had the points a BW would be sweet.. (implants mind with message to build another battle wagon)

Keep me posted. Not sure which is easier for me (Belgium or Canterbury) - but if I can tie it into one of my work trips to London...

Dysartes: thanks. Tourney season start in Belgium around mid-february and lasts till June, with a second wave of tourneys October-December. I was hoping to take the grots to a few spring tournaments.

Metal and skin done! Yay! I'm gonna split them up now and start painting them individually - or maybe I'll do the copper first on all of them, we'll see. If I'm really lucky, I might get these finished by the end of the weekend...

Hmm... Can Meganobz only take a Trukk or a Battlewagon? If they can take both...

When it comes to painting, I've been distracted from the burnagrots. Not very surprising for those who've followed the squeaky waagh!'s adventures, I guess, but hey. I was distracted in part by looking at bitz for my warlord titan, though I've managed to refrain myself from starting it. I've promised myself that I could start the warlord after I've finished reorganizing the hobby room.

I was however, feeling like doing something else than the burnagrots, so, on a whim, I did these:





What this means is that I halved the number of regular grots I still need to do! As much as I like the little guys, I'll be extremely happy once I reach my 1750 goal and I can take them for a spin in a few tourneys. They've been quite a while in the making too, due to real-life issues, etc. etc., ... Insert the usual excuses here

Love the guy with the chibi-halberd, it's great how twisting the gun and adding a shaft change that guy up.

Looks sweet, love the rusty effect.
