Indeed. It's not that bad employment. Cab driving is a relative piece of piss, I'm my own boss, and I'll have a car 24/7 and choose when I work. Set myself a weekly target and drive til it's hit. Jobs a good'un.
And yes, ragging on Dolescum is indeed a vital part of the 'Ignorance' which all Drivers have to pass, less their conversation border on tolerable! :p

Don't require people to work, and then be suprised when they just sit around and reproduce and collect benefits. And then say that they should be sterilized or have the children taken from them.
Believe it or not it could be worse. Check out this. It actually beggars belief that the authorities don't take these kids away from their clearly incompetent parents.

That story is like 4-5 years old. Jessica is now 9 or 10 years old and weighs 120-150. The girl is now waiting for surgery to get rid of excess skin. This is an example of what happens when child services gets involved.

Funny how the US isn't so much a wellfare state and a third of it's population are clinically obese. + until this recesion kicked in we had very low unemployment levels. In other words, your point is ill informed and flawed.

Indeed. Welfare State came to my rescue this year. Only claimed 3 payments thus far, and now have a new job, but without it, I'd have been royally screwed.
As I think I said earlier (might have been another thread) any system is open to abuse, and there will be those who abuse it. This does not make the system fundamentally flawed. It just means there are greedy, shiftless bastards out there looking to take the piss at every opportunity. Like in the world of work, there will always be at least one person in any business quite happy to freewheel their way to the next paycheck, whilst their colleagues pick up the slack.

Personally, I think the various state institutions should start taking samples of my DNA code so we can start re-mapping fat peoples DNA with some of mine. Everybody would be thin, though the world economy would be screwed in no time.
Then again I've never understood why people could be so big and stupid at the same time.
See, I've got a bit of a metabolic issue. It runs way to hot. I've always amazed friends by how much I can eat without gaining weight, or perhaps gaining only a pound or two.
I can easily eat triple the recommended intake amount in a day without batting an eye. Of course, I am 6 foot 6 and weigh only 175 lbs.
