Amazing work, everything looks stunning. Love the human fire warrior too, looks wicked. That carnosaur is one of the best looking conversions I have ever seen, fits so well with the theme. +1

The Mont'Ka certainly is one of a kind! Well done, mate! I had to go bad to WIP pics to figure out all the bits (is it still a bit if it is a devilfish hull? ) that you used!

Thanks for the great feedback, I will be posting a playtest data sheet for the Mont'Ka soon, me and my battle buddies have knocked around some interesting ideas for it.

And I have some more of my Komodai aux to work with, also may just start planning out the Mont'Ka mk2 this weekend.

Thanks again for the compliments and inputs, and as to all the love for the camo, its not really that hard, just find 3-4 good colors that match your intended battle field terrain, and work up a decent disruptive scheme working form a base color, My Tau hail from a Jungle/temperate world so alot of greens and browns, I also use a massive amount of drybrushing to build up the layers and give it a lived in apearance.

Again stay posted for stats and some XV-9 stuff next.

Hey maybe you have already answered this but is that turret from the israeli Merkava tank. It really looks like it.

yup it began life as a 1/35th scale merkava 3 tank. chosen due to how much I liked the hull and turret shape.

I plan on doing my next based on Le Clerc, again due to my Interest in its base shape and such.

Seems a bit steep in points to be honest mate. Just at a glance id be more inclined to do 800pts or there abouts.

Yeah VDR put at around 1200 pts so i usually er on the side of expensive, will playtest it and see how nasty it is or is not, also this could be the "prototype" cost.

Not entirely certain what the is refering to..... but at any rate, my ork freebooter kapatin has taken over the painting table, so will be updating that next as well as a battle report for the Mont'Ka this weekend, should be fun.
