He's back! How many pages did you have to trawl through to catch up?

Thanks!

Thing have been a bit quiet around here lately - I've been cleaning up and preparing the second Venomthrope, which seems to be in worse condition than the first, but there isn't much to show at this point - well, nothing new anyway. This week will be light on too as I am away on business Tues-Thurs. But, I'm not away for Easter this year - so I will endeavour to bring things back on track next weekend!

@SelvaggioSaky: It may *look* like it was made to be kicked on an Ork Trukk, but it doesn't *feel* like it was (quite a bit of cutting and hairdryer repositioning going on here...)

@Casey's Law: Yes, I am am aware of your subversive Infinity uprising... I am waiting on certain... purchases...

@HAZZER: Have you seen "Independence Day"? Also, I think you answered your own question in the preceding sentence

I think you still need to attack the ends of the tentacles. If it's dead, the very ends should be drooping more over the edges. Other than that... looking very cool.

You're forgetting the speed and direction of the Trukk

In that case they shouldn't the claws be pointing backwards as they will be heavier than the tentacles?

Apologies for the lull here, and this isn't really a Da Dark Angelz update... I think endtransmission says it best:

endtransmission wrote:Oh, the Infinity painting competition voting is now open, with some amazingly good entries... and so many of them!

If you haven't already, go vote!

Yes, I've been sidetracked a little - by Infinity, by the competition, by work and now holidays - but I will resume the awesomeness... soon...

@HAZZER: Thanks as always.

@Gutsplitta: Thanks, and glad to have you on board.

@Vitruvian XVII: Well, I was waiting for you... I'll be at Platinum Devil - so you will get your wish!

where am I? *looks around* Well i'm...errr...I...I...don't know!

He looks fantastic!! Lovely muted, and actually very real (Kinda oxymoronic for a fantasy figure) colours!! PM me when you go off to Oz and hopefully we can get in one final game before then...

For your nice comments - another one!

Yes, the matt finish given by the Puirty Seal really tones them down from the previous bright shiny images, and they do look worn and weathered!

Will do. I'd love to get some games in before I disappear, but Da Boss is already annoyed I'm going away next week (Warhammer World this weekend, down in Reading working during the week - what isn't a Bank Holiday of it anyway, and then Platinum Devil IV the following weekend...) - so we'll see what happens! (Still haven't written up our last one!)

The Orderly is a converted fantasy night goblin shaman - the one on the right. He was part of my Dakka Duel entry - part of which was to make sure he fit in with my current Painboy. Not a bad job, even if I do say so myself

Have you just built up a backlog of models or has your painting speed increased by10000%!!!!????

Definitely not sped up by 10000% These were the models EndTransmission challenged me to finish by the end of last year, which weren't completed until late January I believe, and have since been waiting for suitable Purity Seal weather - which I only completed this week. Everyone wanted better photos, so now that they are finished, here they are. I'll make sure to get a group and army shot whilst at Warhammer World this weekend

For each comment, I can post another one Well - until I go to bed anyway.... (or run out - but that's not for a while...)
