Cheers chaps, thanks for the feedback.

Still building . . . two more vision ports to go. The resin aerials will get replaced with wire, it will also get a load of cam netting later.

Just caught up. Too much to rave about since I was here last so I'll simply say ".....gllurrk" and fall over backwards in my chair. I absolutely love your work and have been staggered every time I've come here. Looking forward to whatever modeling maddness you come up with next, it's sure to be another

@ DiDDe : Glad you like it. I'll be taking loads of pictures as I go on this one. I'm still short on a couple of bits for it, so I can only take it so far before it will end up on hold . . .

Your rust work is amazing very realistic !

The only poorly painted miniature is the one that is not painted.

Thanks, a few more bits to add; like this scanner/radar dish, kindley supplied by Greeble @ the most marvelous 'Ammobunker':

Both my other BB's have this part (from back when you could buy components from GW mail order), thought it would be a nightmare to find as I wanted them to all look similar.

Got some more of Digit's fantastic BOARs, three for a project on the Ammobunker and a couple for moi.
Think I'm done with the build stage for these three; currently the hatches and tailgates all work, so I hope they don't get bunged up at the paint stage . .

Not 100% sure what to do with the other two yet, I like the Quantum Gothic radar dish version Digits did, so may well plagarise that. In the mean time I'm just playing with parts . . .

Everything you do looks amazing- all the time. And the speed that you achieve these incredible results with simply staggers me. It's way beyond technique and proper tools / supplies. I've said it before and will likely say it many more times- you are a master of your craft. I hate that I cannot exalt this thread more than once.

Thanks for the kind comment, much appreciated.

I feel like I go at the speed of drying paint. The 'red lump' has been around for so long I can't remember when I got it! I do like painting IG stuff, after doing nothing for most of this year, then (like waiting for a bus [not something I do very often]) all this came along at the same time. I think I'll get the BOARs up to the same stage as the Baneblade before i carry on with it. Then I'm just using the same colours at the same time on all of it . . .

Bit of progress.
Forgotten painting the same colour on five of anything was somewhat monotonous , let alone five sets of tracks and wheels. Added some decals and given all a first wash . . .

Don't think he sells them, but send him a PM . . .

Update on the BB, I've been blocking in the areas to have chipped paint, also my daughters 40k hating cat has struck again; chewed off the searchlight (fixed), the stubber and mount (gluing), the tow cable (finally recovered from outside) - not liking the cat at the mo . . .

CATS! GAAAHH!!! Man I completely know that frustration. My wife has 6 cats. I can't count how many times I've wanted to turn them onto boot socks. Vomit, urine, feces on my books / paperwork, breaking, shedding, and chewing on my miniatures... I especially love it when they sharpen their claws on my foamboard terrain.

We both need these

Great work on Super Heavy! Always glad to see new work and always impressed.
