Actually I think what he meant was... That in the codex with Fuegan's Fire Axe he attacks as a monstrous creature- so he gets the 2 d6 for armour penatration and it is a power weapon... So it is like having a small Monstrous Creature on the board....

I also find it funny that someone voted for Barroth, but no one has voted for Jain Zar or Karandras, both of whom I am fond of, but if I had to pick one sucky Phoenix Lord it would be Barroth...

Eldrad all the way

I love my Autarchs w/ Fusion Guns for reserving my 10-12 Tanks. Coming in on one table side and denying your opponent range with half his army is IMO amazing.

Wouldnt give them up for anything.

Really not even close. Eldrad does so much for your list. 3 Farseer powers each turn is priceless.

I loved my Autarchs.
Jetbike, pistol, CCW, plasma and haywire, 4+ invul, 3+ armor, mandi-blasters, fusion gun, and laser lance.

6 S6 power weapon attacks on the charge has turned the table in several fights.

Eldrad all the way. Unless you're running a jetcouncil I don't see any reason to not take him.

For what he can do he's a bargain, he has the versatility of being able to use any of the powers, 3 powers a turn, T4, a 3++ save, a witch blade that ignores armour, both sets of runes. I'd probably still take him is he was 250 points

The only time that I do not take him is in small point games, or ones where I really want a Jetseer Council+Autarch (the old man is too cool to go riding around on a silly bike).

If you can afford him, Eldrad is practically a must-take.

Thanks for the input. It seems that most lean towards Eldrad, smaller amount foot seer and Avatar. I see another voted for Barroth. I would really like these people to step forward and say why they would pick him. Seriously, I would like to hear why. Everyone on the list I can see an angle as to why to take that HQ, except Barroth... But maybe I have missed something that makes him really redeemable.. Thanks for the posts... Keep them coming.

yes, fuegan would be perfect with an invuln. Elderad is the best HQ period. But i always use a standard farseer. He's cheaper and i dont necessarily need all those extra powers generally 2 is enough. However in a foot list Avatar and eldrad all the way (poor avatar needs eternal warrior please). Baharoth only exists in my collection because he is an eldar models lol. good to see him get some votes. I've used him, he's not horrid just doesnt do anything all that special, id take him every time if he was 150 points, btu that not being the case he shall sit on my shelf until i paint him in which case he will go back onto the shelf and collect more dust lol

Eldrad is king pimp, if the eldar were a record label, they'd be death row, and Eldrad would be Suge Knight, hanging other HQs off of balconies by their ankles.
