What colour do you plan to paint the fleshy parts of the Daemon Engines?

I'm not entirely sure yet. I was thinking red? But that might make it look too Khornish. Maybe just regular flesh colour

Hmm bruised sounds good. Like where the machine meets the flesh. I'll have to ask my local GW on how to do it Anways here is a small update for you all. Some more WIP pics.

In regards to the flaming skeleton, it was one of my first few attempts at greenstuff fire. I think it's ok at best I'm hoping the paint job makes it look better.

Update time! I've finished 2 more of the CC squad. Only the Icon Bearer and the Aspiring Champion. Now the end is in sight for this squad I feel more motivated.

Gaah, why do I keep forgetting about this blog? Awesome work! I like the fire on the skeleton a lot! Nice to see you painted the fire right as well.
Also, I love the Bloodletter head as a mask on your champion! Looks really cool.

Just a quick question: On my current Aspring Champion, there is a face on his powerpack, and I don't know if I should paint it red like the last AC or to paint it green, bone or stone. What do you guys think?

Finally! A proper update. I finished the last two of my CC squad. Took longer than it should of due to sleep, seeing the GF, NVQ work etc.
CC Chaos Space Marine:
The Aspiring Champions face actually gives me the creeps Also included are a couple of shots of his Pistol and bone faced backpack. I attempted 2 more OSL hings. I'm pretty proud of them. One is the pistol the other is his eyes...

It is indeed a red eye! Inspired by The Sons of Horus. I was going to paint it like the Eye of Sauron but It didn't look right when I tried to picture it.

His axe seems just a bit too long, a little off-centre. I can't really see his helmet, but it has quite a brooding touch like that. Perhaps a brighter picture of his head?

Yeah his axe is off centre I made this guy about 2 years ago I'm just giving him a lick of paint as I don't want to waste the model or money I will try to get a better picture of his head this eve if I can

Update: The Terminator Lord is finally done. For some reason my attention span seems to be slipping lately. Not cool. I'm also trying not to get distracted by the new Warriors of Chaos things as I have a 2000pt+ army of Warriors. But here are the pics of the Lord. I tried a lava effect on his weapon instead of the traditional power weapon effect people do. I got the idea from Knightly who kindly let me give it a try (check him out, amazing GK blog)

Now my next things to work on are my Warp Talons. Very excited to do them next.

Done some work on two of the Warp Talons. For some reason I lost my will to paint today and feel it still isn't 100%. Hopefully just for today.

Also has anyone had any experience with Purity Sealer? Is it any good? Is't too glossy etc. It seems if I hand undercoat things with imperial primer the paint comes off when I pick it up, ruining any work I do.
