Sorry I haven't posted in a while...just caught up today and mate, you've been busy with the dark gods across a couple of universes! Love those cultists - especially the Detail work (the stripes, bandages etc) .

Two more cultists are completed! I promise they aren't the same cultists I've already posted. GW were lazy when it came to these guys in the Dark Vengeance set and just made 4 cultists for each squad and then cloned them.
Painting may slow down as my next DVD of the TV show Bones should be here any day now and I can't watch and paint at the same time Also Pokémon is released on the 12th so that will take up my time as well. What can I say? Pokémon Fanboy till I die

Well it's been a while since I posted some work. You all know how it is in real life. Lost my motivation, got Pokémon Y and a Wii U, family came down to visit. I was just fed up of looking at the same damn Cultists. So I forced myself to do them and I'm currently working on a Heavy Weapons guy and the Cultist Champion. And I have a bit of a surprise for you all. I found my Chaplain Dreadnought I painted about a year and half ago? If I were to do another one it would look a lot better but I'm still pretty proud of it. He will be used with my Imperial Fists that I'll be doing soon (Another blog *groan*)
Anyway, on to the pictures!

Really like the dreadnought

The Cultists are looking nice and the dread is great as well, the plasma coils look nice in green.

I lost all motivation half way through painting my cultists so fair play to you for sticking with them. They're looking great so far. As for the Chap Dread it looks good so far.

GiraffeX: Thank mate It was my first attempt at many layers like Dark angels, then a layer of 50/50 Dark Angels and Snot Green etc all the way to white and then a green wash to tie them all together

Biohazard: I am losing the will to work on them but if I keep going I can do the things I want after He's from about a year and a half ago so I if I were to do another one (I would love to) it would be a lot better

Well I'm pleased to see the Dreadnought went down well I'll just incorporate the Imperial Fist into this blog. As for the Imperial Fists I've decided to do a Heresy era Legion so it's going to get very expensive
I've finished the last two models of ranged Cultist squad and I actually had so much fun painting them unlike the other Cultists. I also attempted a rust effect on the Champions sword that I haven't done for years.

No pictures, still working on a couple of them. Unfortunately I received bad news today. The garage I work at is being closed down on December 31st making all of us who work there redundant. They said they will try to find us other jobs but I hardly doubt it. So I've still got a few paychecks left but I won't be buying models as I have to save for my future. So no more models for awhile, however I still have other squad of Cultists, 5 Chosen, Chaos Lord, Helbrute and Space Hulk so the blog will still be updated.

Well it's taken longer than it should of but I've finally finished the first two guys of the Cultist close combat squad. To be honest I'm getting tired of painting these guys but there's only eight more to go so I shall I keep at it.

I apologise about the lack of updates. I lost my painting vibe after the news about my job and I've been distracted by Skyrim (again), Resident Evil: Revelations and Call of Duty: Ghosts. However I managed to get some work done I've finished two more Cultists.

Those guys are all looking good! I keep looking at your progress and picturing all the work I have to do to bring my world eaters forward a decade and up to current codex viability. Your demon engines are still pretty inspirational. What's next after the cultist slog?

It's nice to be back. I just got so burnt out on modelling stuff, I needed to take a break for a while. My chaos P&M thread is back up and running, I'm modelling a diorama with a DV chaos marine in Kohrne colours and a tyranid stalking him.

I'm really liking the red on the most recent cultist, it's well done.

Cultists are looking great Nash, only a few more to go.

Well who would of thought it? The Cultists are now finished! Huzzah! And two updates in a row Since these guys are done the next step will be to start the Dark Vengeance Chosen, so expect some WIP of those guys.
Question: I think the Chosen Champion would make a great Dark Apostle but I don't know how to paint him up. Like the Word Bearers or like a Chaplain as a dark mockery? But then he might look to much like Black Legion. Here's the pics
