One Nob may be a painboy... + X Points

That means you already have purchased a Nob, and add the point on afterwards.

This obviously shows everyone how weak your argument is. I upgrade in that order, as RAW states. I have broken no rules, therefore it is allowed. Please find the rule that disallows me from doing this.

Your analogy is useless. It's only a valid comparison if you work under the assumption that you're right, which means it's incapable of proving that you are right.

Haha! I guess this just sums up that you know what Ive said is right. You are always the first person to tell people to stop comparing things to fluff and other comparisons, and to read whats on paper, yet you stray from these facts. I guess twisting an analogy to a completely different situation makes your imaginary rules right in the 40k world. Ive got to try that the next time I play.

I've been given 10 apples. One of the ten may be an orange. We don't have a fething clue though. Just try eating them all and find out, eh?

I've been given this terribly worded scenario. The second sentence doesn't translate here, it is just a recap. We have no idea how to sort out this scenario. Just keep playing at GTs and other important stuff where GW is watching and bring it up to the judges. Once you have your answer, please, share it with us. Although the word of a GT judge doesn't really mean anything, it'll bring a lot of people closure.

Please explain where in my process I broke the rules. Using either the 40k rulebook or Ork Codex, show me where it says I lose my already upgraded gear, the seperate painboy wargear entry, or where I can't upgrade in order.

Your 10th Nob in 'Eavy armor is deciding to sit this one out and a Painboy (specific entry in the Ork codex) is joining the unit instead. He has his own profile and his own entry in the codex as opposed to your idea of creating a new entry titled "Nob Painboy".

Guys you can go back and forth with this new discovery of topic to argue about " apple and oranges" its still not going to change the stalemate of speculations .

Uhh, we just confirmed there is indeed a process, when you have to buy a Nob, and THEN buy a painboy for +X points. What happens inbetween buying the Nob and the Painboy is not mentioned, except that the Painboy replaces his Slugga & Choppa, and ONLY those two items (Not ALL wargear ala Chaos Lord), for Dok's Tools and Syringe. RAW, I get to keep all upgrades.

Yeah, you bought as nob, then became a painboy, so is no longer a nob, so cannot have nob only wargear.

It has to say he stays a nob, especially since he gets a whole new profile, and is therefore not a nob.

Forgive my dumbness , but how does that explain the specific Pain boys losing the heavy armor , while you say the one in Nob unit doesnt?

"it doesn't say you can't" is not how the rules work, which was my point all along. It has to say he remains a Nob, otherwise he does not.

No, because Warlocks can be "Upgrade[d] to Spiritseer", so is both a Warlock and a Spiritseer while in Nobs "One Nob May be a Painboy".

Also, Spiritseers do not have separate Profiles and wargear options, painboys do.

OMFG! Read the fething thread. They can have bikes because THE WHOLE UNIT MAY HAVE BIKES. They cannot have Armour because ONLY NOBS MAY HAVE IT.
