At the end of last week I ordered a few things from the GW site, got my confirmation email through fine and they arrived on Saturday. Yesterday I recieved another confirmation email for the same price but a different order number, I checked my bank ballance and no more money has been taken. I'm certain I haven't ordered anything else and I have the confirmation email from my initial order, it seems really odd.

Has anybody else had this happen to them? Or do you think I should be expecting a free second parcel in the next day or two?

It's possible. GW can be notoriously bad at somethings. It's 50/50 on whether you get another package. If you do, consider it early christmas.

I don't remember ever getting 2 orders (initially) I did have one instance where I ordered some stuff, one kit was MIA and they redid the whole order (4 items.)

Hence the high prices, to cover costs fo replacement kit.

They can either spend to tighten up their processes, or write off a fraction of their stock. One of these is a long-term plan.

2 Razorwing Flocks and 1 of each of the Khymera's, came in at thirty-something quid. I only got them for painting seeing as they were so expensive, but if I get 8 for £30 then I'l be able to make an ok unit out of them

This has been happening for my in store terminal orders recently. I got an email shipping notification several days after I had the product in my hands.... 'bout crapped myself. Only one box for me, though.

Hope yours come through!

I've had this happen to me as well. My biggest worry was that I was charged twice, and my greatest hope was that I got 2 orders for one. Neither was the case.

I think it may be a glitch in their ordering system, as I had something similiar with my companies website. Possibly it tells you that your order has been placed, and once payment has been verified/accepted it tells you again.

Well I've had two order confirmations and two dispatch notifications and (as of yet) I still haven't been charged a second time. I direct order stuff through them once a month or so and this is the first time its happened, If I don't get anything in by tomorrow I'll assume it's a mistake, but fingers crossed

I frequently get dispatch notices after I have received the items.

If you can keep your head, while all about you are losing their's, then you have probably completely misunderstood the situation!

Had the same thing happen to me with a Forge World order for a Dark Angels MKIIB Land Raider and a Titan Tech Priest. Suffice to say, I had my fingers crossed and made damned sure I checked with the credit card company

When I asked Forge World about it they said it's because GW, as a whole, is overhauling their email notification system. There was kinks to work out last week, but they think they got them as of Monday/Tuesday.

I got home last night to find another package! thats a total of 4 Razorwing Flocks and 4 Khymera for £32 instead of £64.....almost cheap I checked my bank and I've still not been charged so what should I do?

Keep them and say nothing, and think of them as "making up for being over charged for everything else I've ever bought from them" or Drop GW an email or call to point out the error and see if they want them returned ect?

Thoughts?

Legally you should probably notify them. I would anyway. Having said that, I'm sure they probably wouldn't sic the police on you for keeping the extra (and in point of fact, will probably tell you to keep them).

Yep, call them out of common courtesy, explain, and it will probably work out that you keep them anyway. Of course, if they ask for it back, make sure they pay shipping, their error not yours

I ordered a Space Wolves battleforce for mail order in a store when I was away from home. But my card got declined. I went to the bank, found I had no money, so went to the store and cancelled it.

A week later, I got a battleforce.

Awesome. Maybe I should look into buying off their GW internet site instead of looking for deals on ebay, seems more lucrative! Nice extra pick up!

Keep in mind, I've probably made about 10-15 orders directly from their site, and this is the first time I've had it happen or even heard of it happening, so don't count on it
