Oh! You need 7 poleaem dudes. Also, might I suggest some plague spitters on those drones?

That drone is going to be properly gribbly when it's all done.
The domes on those start destroyers are just begging to be painted up as giant eyes!

Syro - Thanks. They're actually clear plastic, useful for grots to look out of Presently only one will be an eye, but as with all my stuff, change is always likely
graven - Cheers amigo!
Tyranid Horde - Many thanks. The drop pod idea is definitely stored away for future perusal.
Cain - There's always room for more drones
graven - Briefly toyed with a seven samurai theme for them, but I'll leave that for now. Extra polearms have arrived, so time to start chopping again. And yes, while not technically plague spitters, weapons have been glued in now.
Shrub - I hope so. Only one eye planned at the moment, as above, the fact it seemed so obvious put me off, along with doubts on his effective an eye I can paint. We'll see what happens with the first one I guess.
So, weapons added, and spaces filled.
Just need to touch up the flesh around where the tentacles grow, and ready for some paint splashes (more on that shortly)
Also playing with a new drone concept.
Possibly needs a tail.
And the winged drone caught some colour.
Not sure what to do with the wings yet. Or the patch at the base of the tail - that might become bone, but should probably match the carapace to be fair. Not sure the green at the tail tip works, wanted that to be 'metal' like the front shell, but will probably switch it to yellow.
This and the little drone I both started painting without even thinking about it, so they both just kind of ended up with a version of the classic green armour. But I hadn't really thought about colours for my little Nurgle force yet, so don't know if that will fit - unless I go green with them too. I added the yellow Catalans to the drone thinking I might lighten the greens up with a bit of yellow, not sure though.
You can see the big drone has black primer on the turbofans - I put that down thinking they might be a beaten copper type affair, then realised I already had this green going on....
I do have a couple of older Nurgle type marines that could be a good basis for potential colours (ignoring the fact one has lost a shoulder)...
I did have an idea this could be a marauding band made up of the remnants of two lots of marines - one lot with a more rusty, beaten style, the others being more like actual plague marines, so could still go down that route... Or perhaps have a tiny dark mechanicus group from a daemon forge who supplied the drones, and have them colour match.

Doc - Many thanks!
Cam - Much appreciated bud!
graven - Cheers! I've recently picked up some blight kings, the nurgle blood bowl team, the start collecting box and a Conquest subscription...so should be good for now Still need to get some marines across to you....
CK - Thanks a lot!
Not much done recently, but the four Prime Hierarchs are almost there
And a scale shot...
Still need some work on the bases, and a couple need some finishing details before I start in on some colouring....
And speaking of colour...
Started in on the big drone. Artificial light is making the green look slightly more vibrant than it actually is there...

Finally getting time to catch up on threads, sorry for the delay.
Your paint job on the flying nasties really is as brilliant as your conversions . Love the Tyranid/drone and the big drone scorpion/ not sure but aardvark springs to mind (in a good way) . So different than all the rest of the Nurgle that I’ve seen out there and yet it also bring some those older models back into line as well.
Septic watch? Makes me think that the wrist watches given to these guys must have been very dirty , but cool name and not non-pseudo Latin.

Good work. Nice mixture of parts.
I take it GW released something recently that has coloured plastics in, I'm seeing them more and more about the place, but haven't looked at the shops for months. Dark Imperium was the last thing I bought (and therefore looked at what was available)... and I'm still working my way through that box...

graven - They're a good fit for hulking chaos champions I feel.
Theo - Many thanks. It's always my aim to be a bit different
Haven't decided yet if the Septic Watch is the name for the whole force, or just these guys - I'm tending towards the latter, with these being some kind of honour guard.
CK - Cheers! Felt the scythe needed to come in to break up the poses a bit, there's a limit to what you can do with polearms without a lot of chopping and reposing.
Doc "2 sheds and a heap of toilets" - Gracias amigo. Yeah, the coloured plastics are generally the easy-to-build I think.
Playing with various bits, none of which are in a state worth sharing yet.
But did start messing with this bike...
Thought it would work well playing off the carapace on the winged drone, and I like it so far. Only problem is I just found out Puppets War have replaced this model with a version that has more from along everything.... So if I want more it's going to be a pain. Might just put a character on this and leave it....or I have an idea for some weird plague riders that could maybe have a more normal bike as a leader. Or I resign myself to removing lots of resin trim....
Had been thinking where to add green, but I reckon it's good without, just needs some tidying and weathering...those exhausts need dusting
And tried a quick version on the three legged termie
Obviously early days, but it definitely needs some green to break it up on a figure. Torso and fist, or pads and fist are my current thinking, maybe the helmet if I go with the second....

Syro - Cheers. It's not converted, just battered and notched a bit to make it more carapace like. The newer version is similar, just has from around all the edges and a few eagles - I'll pick up at least one to check how much effort it is to clean that all off.
CK - Thanks! Hopefully even better once I get some green on him. I probably could actually...I haven't really done any full scratch-building since getting back on the modelling train, it's pretty much all kit-bashing and greenstuff. Maybe time to branch out again.
A few little things going on that still aren't fit to show. But this little cutie is.....
Still needs some sort of weapon, an extra carapace piece, and some tidying up and layering on some of the fleshy parts...possibly some cables...

To me it’s screaming for some sort of giant Webber gun. Wrap up it’s opponents and draw them in. Or some sort of multi laser like the chimera has, since it has lots of eyes it should be able to engage lots of targets.
