@itsonlyme: I totally disagree with you that GIMP is easier to use than PS. It's probably down to tase but I find the GIMP UI to be a right pain in the backside. I move like lightning when in PS however.

Sicarus and Calgar in multiple peices(but dont seem to be chipped, thank god....), predator broken into seveal peices(also showing signs of chip and rubbing damage, damn it), land speeder rboek and its resin base snapped in half. :(

Havent even had a chance to look at the other ones.

Going to have a lot of fixing to do when I get home.

Net result: I will buy battlefoam.

Don't worry, nothing some green stuff and paint won't fix. Battlefoam is one of the first things you should have bought, but atleast you learned your lesson. I have to ask though: why kick it?

Battel fome rock got my before the sommer and it help's alooooot! i hade the old big bok's GW trasnport was a pain to carry arund and chipt my figurs all the time. but now i dont even be scard if i drop it or anything

Well i just use the auto color image feature which is more than enough when using the right camera and right settings

Im really sorry to hear about the problems with transporting your models, i think if i ever have to sent mine any distance mine are staying by my side the whole bloody way

honestly, it could have been alot worse with how careless luggage gets thrown around in airports, good thing there was no serious chipping on your models. good luck in their restoration though

i gave them a good look at the hotel, they all seem fixable back to their orginal state

all the command peices with the freehand suffered no real damage, just broke off their resin bases so, im glad there was no chipping!

Hey RP, good to hear you've made it to Oz...

This is the light cube that I use for my miniatures. It is the cheapest one I've found, and does the job very nicely.

I've had little luck finding the same one in Oz, but I got mine at a photography studio, so you might want to hit a few of them up. I did find these on the Oz eBay site if you do get desperate though...

This was the 3rd army I painted, after my first blood Angels and my first tyranids.

These were painted in 2006 and are part of the 1000 point army that won me conflict 2006, Perth.

Pre-Heresy colours not bad but I do prefer the Oblits heads as to the heads they arrive with.

Love the Alpha Legionnaires, the blue highlights in particular. Nice Work, glad you got back OK!

It wasnt so much an attempt to paint them pre-heresy colours when I did them.

This is the colour scheme used for them in the 2nd ed Chaos Codex, which is what I will always use for fluff and colours.

Man look really great man nice work love the bases on the marines. Haha only reason i point that out is I just did my first quality basing for my miniatures just loaded with grass, so that stands out to me now

I finished building my Blood Angel Baal Predators.

Turrents are fully magnatized.

The idea with the rivets was to make them look meaner, and much more aggressive.

I also added addition cooling vents to the sides and onto the rear engine compartment, to represent additional cooling systems that allow the tank to move faaster.

Not diggin the rivits, as is. They look like they were rivited just to rivit it. I woulda replaced the existing location of GWs rivits with the big 'uns, like it needed more to hold it together.

I dunno. I think it works. It makes them distinct, and let's face it; Blood Angels are the artisans of Space Marines.

Are rivets an expression of Art? Guess it'll come down to how they look painted...

hmmm the rivits look out of place in some areas, I would have to agree with whale there.
