Apparently so on the US web site but still available on most other GW sites including the UK. I'm glad that I pre-ordered mine on Sunday since I am travelling this weekend and cannot pick up a Limited Edition locally.

So, I thought it over and ordered the Limited Edition. I may only be able to convert the DA Librarian into a Red Hunter, but still there is too much value and excellent miniatures in this starter set to pass by ... I somehow even want to paint the Hellbrute

Damn hope giftsforgeeks get back to me soon, received a call from my bank yesterday stating they declined payments for my phone bla bla which I stated it was me to made those transactions. Then they said the payment I made for the starter set was declined. I am really confused here because the website and emails say they have received me payment and I have paid for it successfully. However there is no payment being taken out of my account yet. Really hoping this doesnt cancel my order :(

I am going to go apesht if that is the detail when the rest of the chaos figures are released. Those look like they are going to be a lot of fun to paint here next week

Dont usually post on the N&R forum, but gotta say, LE or not this is quality.
The level of detail alone is amazing for snapfit.
Smart move with the chosen too.
Could see some real issues trying to match them in with normal CSM's.

Hellbrute is nice, would make a better iron warriors prince though IMO
Gunna go out on a limb and order the set, even though i dont collect either army.
Just seems too good to pass up.

Keep in mind that only the DA Chaplain is LE. The rest is going to be released over and over for the next 4 years in the DV normal boxset.

Plus, ive been waiting on this for the small rules book, rather than selling my left arm (or a kidney) for the normal one.

Not every Chaos Player wants evil chaplains though. I for example want a purely destructive force. Couple Khorne Chaos lords under 2k, some CC or CC/Pistol Chosen or Terminators and Berserkers. At 2k throw in a Khorne Prince with Wings and some a Land Raider to transport my Zerkers or Terminies and the relevant lord (TDA or DV) and maybe a Defiler or more Termies

The people I ordered from were going to ship mine today but unfortunately they have been hit by the GW crackdown and told nothing can arrive till the release date (which means nothing in the post till friday, which means not getting it till next week)

pretty bummed since the same people got me my 6th edition rulebook 2 days early, stupid GW and their crackdown on leaks.

Boxset looks awesome, I can only hope this is a new level of design for both Dark Angels and Chaos. The difference between a CSM and those Chosen is undeniably awesome. I almost think this is the "evil" version of Honor Guard as they look awesome compared to regular SM but these Chosen look so brutal, so menacing.. The designer deserves some props because I'd love to see this level of design across the board..

I see it as a window into a new design for Thousand Sons, Noise Marines.. and others....

Dark Angels look very solid, I can only hope that the other marine chapters get the same level of detail. I play both Chaos and GreyKnights.... and I can say when I picked up my GK they felt far more awesome than a lot of my Chaos models, painting them made me a better painter all around where as my Chaos models were a bit harder because of how goopy some of the outlines are on the models.

My set has been shipped, woohoo!

Sorry if this has been mentioned before but if the set is limited edition will that mean after those sets are sold out will there be another set that could be a bit cheaper? Or are GW just branding the set Limited Edition?

This has been gone over to death.

But just to reiterate,

The Limited Edition box has the Chaplain in it, and costs like $7 more then the normal set.

The normal set will be released shortly after the Limited edition set is.
