That makes me regret dropping my kickstarter pledge :(

Haven't seen much of the game out and about, doesn't seem like most of what they kickstarted has been released

I recently bought and built a Gorgon.

My first large Forgeworld model and, although I was happy with my use of a hairdryer to reshape bits and use of Greenstuff to fill gaps, it was a lot more effort than I wanted.

I guess it's just the fact that they are made in resin but some of the FW bits are honestly like going back to some of the old Airfix kits from the 70s and 80s, when you had massive gaps and nothing lines up properly.
Certainly when you compare to modern plastics from the likes of Tamiya and Hasegawa, which are machined to within a fraction of a mm tolerance and fit together beautifully, and are less than half the price, it is a bad comparison!

Seems to be fine metal flakes suspended in a really thin paint. They come in larger bottles so cost about 6 or 7 quid. From everything I have seen, they go on in one coat and are super lustrous. Been wanting them for a while as I prefer TMM to NMM. Element games has some in stock if you're interested. I picked up duraluminium and white aluminium.

Got TemTem. Its pretty much everything you'd expect/want from a 3d pokemon make. The mechanics are a little different but the ret is all there. I can feel the collecting addition starting already

Thanks
Do you know if they are only for airbrush?

I have had some of the Alclad metallics before for model kits (if you're doing bare metal on an aircraft and things like that) but the paints are *so* thin that I think you would always need to airbrush them, unless you were super careful with lots of thin coats.

Nope, you can put them on using a brush and they're just as good, which is what I think is the appeal of them! I was debating Alclad paints but I'm in a small enough flat where lacquer paints through an airbrush would be unhealthy!

I just won an auction for a large painted eldar army with battlefoam. Retail value I estimate is around $2,400, I payed $900. I know eldar aren't in the best of spots right now but hell if I could pass that up(especially since I already have eldar).

It was not purchase, but a gaming buddy gave me a box called Rampart – Eternal Cathedral, it is filled with plastic parts for a ruined church and loads of extra pieces. Said he had no room for the boxes. So more terrain to build and paint.

An early Christmas present.

Da Red Gobbo LE figure from last year.

A friend who only recently started 40k with Orkz has been looking for one (at a sane price).
While out finishing Christmas shopping Tue. I was near a game store I rarely frequent. So I stopped in looking for more Necron Tomb Blades for myself.
I didn't find my 'Blades, but I did find the Gobbo MIB & at retail price. Merry Christmas to my ork buddy!

I thought I would look at some of the Burrows and Badgers miniatures.

Put 5 on order a couple of days ago and they arrived this morning. Really impressive looking miniatures. Will certainly be ordering a few more over the next few days.

Last purchases are 2 Necron Warrior boxes.
There is one ordering delayed, with 1 Necron Warrior box and 1 Cryptek.
And there is another ordering in pipeline, with 2 Necron Warrior boxes.
This should give me 60 Warriors with reapers. Nice.
