Odd that they are giving a firm date of the 8th for release. There's no sign of it on the Hachette website and the subscription that I signed up to last year has vanished from my account.

With Conquest I had to sign up again to confirm I was willing to go ahead with the main sub.

you would have thought they would send something to confirm, but if they are doing the first two free for those who pre-signed up you may find the letter comes with issues 1 & 2.

would have thought an email or something though, unless they figure as long as they confirm, or more likely give you the chance to opt out, ahead of actually taking cash its fine.

likely to upgrade to premium on this, looking forward to a decent size pic of whats included

1&2 will come with 3&4 I would imagine.
You’ll just pay £16 for the first 4 if you subbed early..

last time was 1&2 on their own, then 3-6 together.

not massively fussed either way to be honest, just a slight itch to get going, having started a "Soul Wars" set of nighthaunt they are actually fun to paint, and for the first time going pretty much with a recommended GW scheme for both sides

Rings a bell actually..

But thinking on it, won’t that mean that 79 and 80 will come alone also.
Seems odd that they’d make an extra delivery when it’s already divisible by 4 at 80 issues..

seems to fit with Conquest though, of the final six four are the tank thing the final two are a bit of terrain so coming as a block of four then the final two together makes sense

It's supposed to be coming out on the 8th, isn't it? I've seen ttis available to pre-order on the Forbidden Planet site for that date, but i'm hoping to just go down to WHSmith and get one on the day. Has there been anything to confirm if it'll be available then?

I've seen a few mentions of Issue 1 having been available a few months back, why would they have done that?

That’s during the trial phase.
This is the general release now coming

Part of me hopes they wait until Conquest is finished before releasing this in Oz.

I'd love to subscribe to this one too, but paying for a subscription to both isn't ideal. We're about halfway through Conquest at the moment, so here's hoping they wait another few months before bringing Mortal Realms here.

Dublin specific but Easons in the Square Tallaght have them out now so I assume other easons have them as well €4.40 as they are converting from the Sterling price.

Picked up 3 copies to bring my Chainrasps up to 60 bargain at €13.20 plus some ETB Sequitors that may be used as statues on some terrain piece or other.

It still seems weird to me that they can be in shops right now but there is absolutely no sign of them nor mention of them on the Hachette website...

Hmm. I subscribed back in August last year and received the letter about the trial ending etc, but I also don't see any active subscriptions when I log into the Hachette site.

Also, I see actual www.warhammermortalrealms.com site is even more of a placeholder than it was was last year, with no links or buttons to actually start a subscription.

Just got an email from Forbidden planet saying the backing is going to be "folded in half for ease of shipping" which is just absurd, damaging customers items because its easier for them to get in a box. Yes, it's carboard backing, but that's not the point...it's still a part of the product and postage is being charged anyway.

nice to have a better pic of the contents

also had the note about the backing being folded, given for Conquest! the actual subscriptions ones were also folded and its going in the bin anyway I can live with it.

given I've got six copies on order, plus the actual subscription (which like others has vanished from the Hachette site) if I want one one is probably going to be decent

I got seven individual emails for my seven pre-order copies, each with the warning about the cardboard being folded. I am leery of it, but if it doesn't damage the sprues or the magazine at all I don't mind.

The issue was that due to the size they had to ship issue 1 of Conquest in a massive box by an expensive delivery firm so I can fully understand the change. Hachette didn’t even try and ship the backing board for issue 1 for the same reason.

I also had an email although in my case there was some sort of problem where they didnt carry the 1 and they can't recover my subscription. Guess it is time to see how good / bad their customer service is!

I checked my local WH Smiths this morning, and they had a huge pile in the partworks section. Hopefully it should be fairly easy to pick up a copy for the next couple of days.

I thought the email was nice and it makes sense. The sprues and magazine won't be bent, and they sent the email so if you weren't happy with this you could cancel it, before they charge you. If it's this much of an issue, you'd have been better cancelling it when you got the email then buy it in store (albeit with the risk that the cardboard back will then be dogeared/bent from the shelf).

Has anyone done a breakdown of the respective rrp of the contents of a full subscription to this yet?

Now that the premium one is £2 an issue rather than £1.50 like Conquest the full rrp of the premium collection is around £300 for a cost of £160 to the subscriber. That is with putting no monetary value on the paints or the 32 page booklet things with each premium delivery.

If this follows the Spanish model the premium subs will be with deliveries 7/11/15 and 20, but take that with some salt.

For some reason it seems that the release date for Issue 1 from Forbidden Planet now says its out on the 22nd January, even though they were available in shops today.

Warhammer Stores are stocking them. I suspect it’ll just be the first four issues, as it was with Comquest.

Aye, the Coventry store has them in today. Just hope that my place of work has them in stock today as a 20% discount on the cover price would be sweet for all those Chainrasps.
