Well I’ve been away from Dallas for a few days so looks like I missed the announcement of them being on shelves.

Probably none left in my co op but will check in half hour on my way home from work..

Nothing in the co op.
Anyone’s local newsagents have them?

Picked up a couple of issues from my local newsagent/general store just to give me a load of miniatures to practice painting as I'm only just back into the hobby. Only had the two on display but the guy behind the counter did ask me if I wanted any more, so I'm guessing there's lots of multiple purchasers.

I was able to, via the banner on the Manage Subscription page that reads 'click here to pay your bills automatically via Direct Debit or Card'. At least, it let me put in card details and set up the payments, though with the first batch being free I can't tell if it worked or not (and chances are I will cancel after that anyway).

If it helps, I wasn't able to get the link in the email to work, but instead just went to Hachette directly and managed the subscription from there (using the code from the email, though that didn't work immediately, had to wait a day).

Same here, I just added the subscription from the number in the email. I seem to remember doing the same last time.

I have entered my direct debit details but it still hasn't registered yet and is still saying 'click here to pay by direct debit'. Again, I seem to remember it takes a while before the direct debit is 'locked' in place on the Hachette account page.

Takes them something like 24 to 48 hours to update anything related to what is show on the subscription screen.

With Conquest I often had blank lines appear a day or so before the issues being sent text appeared.

All sorted now, plain as day on a laptop but not so on a tablet.

Asda Coventry (Brade Drive) had a fair few in this morning.

I am disappointed that I can't get these in Canada. I happen to need 40 Chainrasps for my army but I have to spend $200+ when when of you lucky dudes over there can spend £12 (which is just over $20). I clearly need at least one British friend... Bah.

I just got an email saying that the postage to Canada from Forbidden Planet will be 68 Pounds for 9 issues. Looks like the whole "maximum 5 Pounds shipping" thing doesn't work internationally. Now I have to decide whether it is worth biting the bullet to get a full set of Chainrasps or wait and hope this comes to Canada, presumably at least two years from now.

This is really disappointing. I've been talking this up to a lot of people locally, and had planned on building up my Nighthaunt affordably.

Ugh I was waiting for that email too but now I can go back to being sad about it lol. I sent a 20lb box to Australia from the east coast of Canada and that cost about the same as what you were quoted, haha.

Speaking of which, now I know how Australia feels. Sorry!

The Looter's Group could be your lifesaver.

UK buyer pays the P&P (£5 max), oversea buyer pays for all that plus the standard oversea postage.

Pain in the hoop but if Hachette don't appear willing or capable to distribute to the American continent...

That would still be significantly cheaper. I figure I'd give someone £35 for 4 of them which should cover the magazines, shipping, and some extra for actually doing it for me. It would cost the same as 1 box of Chainrasps, but I'd get 4 (and some SCE and dice too!). Totes worth it.

Thanks for the suggestion. That was my idea too. I have a post up on the looter's page to see if anyone can help me out.

called them today to upgrade to premium, the new customer service line is a hell of a lot better and I could actually hear them. was told to wait until I have the first two and upgrade then or it will muck up the 'free issues' bit.

apparently I do have a Direct Debit set up, regardless of what their website says, as others have noted its not exactly up to speed most of the time.

Its got serious at Leopard Towers though, Mrs L. has nicked one of my shop bought copies and started building & painting (Pink Nighthaunts anyone? they actually look half decent) and I got home today to find shes subscribed to it as well, has a bit of a thing for ghosts

Forbidden planet have posted three of the six I ordered, have been told the others are on back order until probably the 20th which sounds like this first issue is shifting

I’ve been told by customer service that the premium boxes are released with issues 15, 30, 50, and 70.

After a severe amount of shop trawling I’m at 21 copies of issue 1 now so I’m set for chainrasps for life now.
May try for 3 more copies to round it up to 6 max units.

seems about right, they just said "don't upgrade yet", I gather yo can go for it on any of the first four issues, and leave it until later and its slightly cheaper

have 9 here, with the subscription one when they all arrive, plus 20 rasps already, its an amazing 1st issue, slightly surprised it wasn't one of the nighthaunt ETB sets you would perhaps have a few of but not a silly number like the rasps

From experience, the magazine itself usually adds the most weight! So if you’re just after the models, might help keep post weight down.

Yes that's true, it certainly does.... But it does not add £68 worth of weight, haha.

Weight and volume on that 1st issue are enormous! I bought six copies from Forbidden Planet and they needed a large box just to ship those in -- about 12" x 12" x 18". There would have been no room to fit anything else in there -- maybe one more magazine? The huge cardboard backing was the main issue. They would need to curve or fold it to avoid having to send in an even wider box...

Well they are all gone from every local newsagent, co op and smiths near me..
So one from the sub and that’s it.

I’m wondering how much from the first 6 issues will be useable for Warcry.
Not sure how far into this subscription I will go yet, but a little warband at least would be good..

Cheers for the heads up.

So that is deliveries 4, 8, 13 and 18? Assuming they come in groups of 4 (like Conquest) and you subscribe from issue 1. May be tempted to go Premium and cancel it once the Sylvaneth arrive.

Deliveries 5, 8, 13, 18 it’d be.

I don’t think I’ll make it that far. I did Conquest up to 26 as that was 7 deliveries for the free gifts. But I play Death Guard already so it was easy enough to justify.
What would the price be on just grabbing those sylvaneth bits from a discounter, I’ll have to work it out, I get 25% off there.

Also though, if you cancel before issue 20, you pay the difference to make it up for premium, so it’s basically £40 for it.

For the UK guys, check local spar and one stop shops.

I dropped into my local GW hoping to grab more and got told it’s 1 per customer.
Not sure if this is UK wide or just as per your local GW deems fit.

Either way, between a local spar and 2 one stop shops I managed to snag 9 more copies so that’s me done for now.
I live in a fairly built up area too, so people who live in quieter areas may have more luck.

I can buy 2 issues I think, but the postage from Spain is expensive. 18 euros and change with a company I know nothing of, 21 with the USPS equivalent. Maybe the brits have it cheaper?

Ugh, I saw the spawn issue of Conquest. Looks like it comes out next week. THAT’S the one I want!! 3-4 copies, honestly.

Reality is a nice place to visit, but I'd hate to live there.

My Mortal Realms sub number is finally active on Hachettes website, does anyone know when the 1st batch of sub issues go out?

Pretty sure scalpers will try to have a field day with that one.

Especially when it is available to order from Forbidden Planet right now for £7.49 plus P&P.

https://forbiddenplanet.com/290826-warhammer-age-of-sigmar-mortal-realms-5/

No idea if they will post international but the model is there for the taking.

Beat the scalpers!

For Slovenia, and probably most of Eastern Europe, Forbidden Planet ships at 8 GBP for 1 or 2 issues, then jumps to 28 GBP at 3 issues for some reason. So the optimal rate is 4 GBP per issue if you get 2 at a a time.

And they're out of Issue 1 OFC.

If someone in the UK could grab 4-8 of them for me I'd be ever so grateful.

I can’t find any issue 1 anywhere still. Nothing in Smith’s down in Suffolk.

This was a two week run? So this Wednesday is still just more 1?
Maybe they’ll get more in to put out then..

If you ask in WH Smiths they should be able to find it on their system (and order it in for you), it's certainly there now

and yes wed will be the start of the second week, but not sure if that will mean more stock coming in (unless it's been ordered specifically as extra)
