In case you were wondering what all the words said, it is a poem called Invictus by William Ernest Henley. Pretty much totally badass and quite fitting for a Space Marine.
Out of the night that covers me,
Black as the Pit from pole to pole,
I thank whatever gods may be
For my unconquerable soul.
In the fell clutch of circumstance
I have not winced nor cried aloud.
Under the bludgeonings of chance
My head is bloody, but unbowed.
Beyond this place of wrath and tears
Looms but the Horror of the shade,
And yet the menace of the years
Finds, and shall find, me unafraid.
It matters not how strait the gate,
How charged with punishments the scroll.
I am the master of my fate:
I am the captain of my soul.

Three shades of grey, light brown, white, and mithril silver for the roof. Brown, rust, shining gold, to silver for the aquila!
Enjoy,

So mod podge is a cheap fast drying way to do water effects. I still think my favorite is gloss varnish for canvases. If you just want a thin coat of water mod podge works well and drys very fast. Cloudy to clear in about 12 hours. The only problem I found with it is air bubbles. So for a cheap effective , fast drying water go for mod podge. For a deeper water use gloss varnish, it takes much longer to dry but a lot less air bubbles. If anyone knows a way to reduce the air bubbles or has used mod podge please comment. I would love to know you faired with it.

The crater looks good, but I really doubt you'll be able to do anything about the bubbles now. I reckon you'd be able to minimise the problem by doing any future ones in 2 or 3 layers, rather than all in 1 go.
Great work as usual, I'm loving the cathedral As soon as my DE army is painted and I've finished painting all my existing scenery (probably a year or more away ) I'm going to have a go at making one too.

So so sad...I sat down at my bench today and after 10 minutes I had to walk away. I was so excited to finally sit down and paint, but when I started I had no motivation.
So I need your help, what do you do when you have lost the desire to model/paint?
Help me Dakka dakka, your my only hope!

Find a friend who will motivate you. That's what I do. He comes over every Tuesday and we paint together.
Also, look for something you want to paint.

That is great advice, except I love to paint alone. It has served as my place to be alone and unwind! I think I should start playing more, maybe seeing more painted armies will help. My birthday is in a few weeks and I asked for an airbrush. Perhaps a new toy will help as well.
Thanks for the comment!
Any other suggestions?

Ooh an airbrush. My birthday was a month ago. Care to get me one?
Tournaments are also a big motivation. If you have to complete an army by a certain time, then you'll be plenty motivated.
Maybe you could set goals and deadlines for certain things.
I also look at p&m threads, and they often inspire me to get off my buttocks and do something.

What I have done in the past to stay motivated:
- Start a new project. Could be time to shelve the terrain, pick up your IG or some other project. Some Raptor Legion Space Marines maybe?
- Throw out your current style of painting, try something new. Airbrush would be an easy jump, but your could also try some new advanced techniques.
- Sign up for a tournament, preferably one with a painting standard. Give yourself plenty of time, but include as many new things in it as possible.
