The head is a pretty good match. I picked it because it was un helmeted and different, looks darn closer

Nothing special but I want to know if anyone wants a step by step, un boxing kind of tutorial on using the GW kits.

Personally I've already put loads of them together myself so dont really need a walkthrough, but it might be interesting to see your take on things anyway
The only problem I really have with them is that there are far to many broken wall sections. It's impossible to make a complete building without using a load of kits together.

Nope! Not with GW kits anyways. But a building you can't use (i.e. nowhere to move minis into) is really nothing more than a LOS blocker on the table.

Agreed, it is not possible to make a whole building with one kit. The building I will be making is going to be just a corner 4 stories tall. It will be pretty sweet, no scratch building but some surprises though. If you are good will plastic card stock you can easily make extra wall sections. Maybe if I have any laying around I can show you.

Exactly, I need to make about 3 more "functional " terrain sets. As cool as the Capitol Building, and the Shrine of Aquila might be they are ultimately unused after turn One. Unless one person is defending a base. The idea for these buildings were, are eye candy

A local FLGS is starting a gaming club and my terrain might be center stage. Time to actually use thus stuff.

I made a hybrid GW kit/scratchbuilt panels over on my non-necromunda scratchbuilding thread http://www.dakkadakka.com/dakkaforum/posts/list/30/398620.page
But I still haven't finished it. I need a few more of the ruined manufactorum panels to model the top floor. I didn't think this project through very well, that's why it is still stalled. I found that my plasticard wall sections were very straight, while the GW panels were warped, not square, etc.

wow, my workbench was eerily clean back when I built that. At least a year or two ago. It's still sitting there unfinished.

Hard to are but this is the 40k version of a rosary for Jackson.

... that looks like kit's a mighty impressive sculpt, too bad about the blur. :\ Is it a press mold or did you sculpt it? It's an awesome bit either way.

It is a bit! Just trimmed and put on a chain! I wish I could sculpt like some people on Dakka!
