Er, I'm pretty sure the only good MP7 is a KWA and it's gas blow-back. I could be wrong though...

I use to have the Tokyo Marui MP7 which was pretty sweet. Not exactly cheap though.

Soooo, I picked up a Tokyo Marui FN FiveseveN with a spare mag....for $100. It's only been used in the field twice. I couldn't say no, considering that pistol goes for $170 brand new. I love being a bargain shopper lolz EDIT: I got it from a friend that doesn't play any more

I'm too scared to play airsoft now. I really can't afford any arrests, or I might be disqualified from the Navy's nuclear power field training. I've just been shooting trees from my back porch since then. Doubt I can be arrested for that, although you never know.

My gun:
Two movie-poster style poses
And my rig. those 6 mags are the ones that didnt fit my gun, but I wear em cause they look cool. 2x utility pouches, a 100rd SAW pouch to hold ammo/empty mags, and another mag holder w/ built in pistol clip. Gonna add a pistol holster on there eventually

I posted this in the most recent moment of badassery thread, but I thought it should go here too:
I Was the last person left on my team in an airsoft war this weekend. I just ran into the woods, with like 7 people chasing after me, out of ammo in all of my guns except my revolver, which still had a full 6 shots. I ran behind a log, and took cover. Everyone was charging or taking a position around me, so I decide to go down fighting, and I took out four of them, missing with only two shots, before I finally took about eleven bbs in the face and chest.
Earlier in the war there was a sniper in a two story trailer house thing, shooting down with a gas sniper rifle. I walk casually out of cover, put him in my revolver's sights, and hit him right between the eyes. I was quite a ways off too. One thing that offset the epicness however was that later on, the same sniper, in the same position, did the exact same thing to me
Later that night we pointed it at our feet (though we were still wearing boots because we didn't want to pierce our skin lol) and played russian roullette

Well, three of my friends got arrested for playing airsoft in a construction site last night...
There are three office buildings being built in my town (Edwardsville IL) and monday night three of my friends decided to check it out, and see if they could sneak in and play some night-time airsofting. Well, last night they went in, played for about 20 minutes before 8-9 Edwardsville cops showed up with AR-15s and bullet-proof vests (similar to the story above).
It turns out that the construction site has security cameras and a cop in the area...and my friends didn't know about it.
Luckily, they only got charged with trespassing and each had a $100 bail to get out of prison.
Funny story, but more bad press for airsofters :/

Apparently, this stuff happens all the time. It really doesn't help with all the new legislation trying to ban the sport in states like Cali and NJ. Players should really be more careful with this kind of thing to prevent ruining the sport for others.

Are they quitting too? We've basically halted all of out airsofting, although me still shoot stuff off of the porch behind his house. There's really no point to it anymore, especially when we're both leaving in five months.

It's not that hard to ask around. Find a place to play, call the owner, explain and ask. This makes it legal, if you can imagine. Be prepared for people to say no, but it's worth a try. Back when I played in South Carolina I did this and had a couple of very nice wooded areas to play. One place was about 20 acres of awesome woods where the owners would hunt deer, so there were several trails and what not. I hosted the games, took the responsibilty of any problems and had people sign waivers so no one tried to sue for an injury or something along those lines. The owners let us play for free and there was never a problem, though there were some close call snake encounters. You could also ask any paintball fields in your area. Hopping onto private property without permission and running around with replica guns is how people get shot in Texas all the time.

Nope, there's actually an airsoft/paintball field about 10 minutes from where we all live.
They were just bored and had a "great idea". Safe to say I'm glad I stayed home.
