In one of the older Eldar codices the biting blade (IIRC) allowed you to keep rolling to would again for every successful wounding roll you made. The Eldar player wound up in cc with a Canoness from the Witchhunters book, and proceeded to make no less than 27 successful wounding rolls. We all laughed and commented about fillet of Nun etc etc, and then watched as the SoB player counted out 27 dice and then started rolling them 1 at a time...
.. and then passed all 27 saves. Even with a 2+ save this was quite impressive, we were even more impressed when said Canoness proceeded to kill 2 wraithlords, Eldrad and most of the rest of the eldar army all by herself.
True to form, the same model/character died from a combination of dangerous terrain tests and plasma overheats in the next game.

Sister Vastly Superior
|
Sisters never fail to deliver on the awesome.
Oponent setup:
3 LR Vanquisher side by side. Middle one contains Pask. 3 squads of guards tightly packed around them to prevent assault.
Turn one, most of my army comes in from the left, in the open, while I have this lone immolator with a celestian squad (2 MG) coming in from the left using cover, that gets mostly ignored. By end of turn two, immolator was getting close to the lines so gets some attention and gets wrecked. Celestians exit still alive and proceed to start runningtowards the enemy lines.
Guards around tanks proceed to rapid fire the celestian squad killing all except a lone Meltagun wielding sister. In my turn I walk another 6 inches forward, gets me in range of Pask's Vanquisher. Shoot the MG, hit. Penetrate, get a 6 result and explode tank. Roll for explosion size, get 6 inches, covering most of the guards and wiping nearly 75% of three infantry units. Two of those three squads fail their moral check from the ensuing 25% damage done and break away.
She punched a whole through the front line of AV14, allowing me to mop up with the rest with my army, and went on to survive until the rest of the game.
Putting myself in character I always chuckle at the sight the guards must have seen. A single woman in armor walks up, blows up a tank that ends up killing nearly all their comrades. No wonder most of them didnt want to stick around.

My mega-armoured Warboss, Morgrim "Da Lion" Grimork, accounted for 6 VPs all by himself in a 1200pts Orks vs Tau & Eldar game - carrying the Orks to victory single handedly - Fire Warriors, Crisis Suit, War Walkers, Wraithlord, Shas' el, Farseer - as well as surviving torrents of fire *and* the Wraithlord's charge. What more could you ask of an Ork Warboss? A+

Two, one less impressive than the other.
First: During a battle, a battlewagon with Deffrolla managed to ram a Valkyrie, destroying it.
Second: In a 3 way game, IG, (my vindictive little brother) Orks(me) and Chaos (back when Greater deamons burst out of a character, played by one of my freinds) I had a single KK (one of the old metal ones), shoot and kill 1 khorne hound, then my little brother took off the big shoota with a lascannon. to speed up the game, we allowed the blood thirster to arrive on round one, and it wound up close to my kan, behind the hounds. my next turn, i snackrifice the kan to delay the hounds, and manage to kill one only recieving "many not move or shoot next turn" results, Chaos's turn, the bloodthirster joins in, and i kill 2 hounds, still only get "MNMOS" on all glances and penetrations. 3rd turn, kill the last hound, and deal 1 wound to the blood thirster. MNMOS. Chaos's third turn, another wound, MNMOS. my 4th turn, the blood thirster is sent back into the warp, after imobilizing the kan.

A single Drop Pod carried a tourney game for me by existing and firing its storm bolter. The Pod was smack in the middle of two pieces of impassible terrain; the Tac Squad inside disembarked on one side and proceeded to hose down a squad of Genestealers, while the Storm Bolter sat there and whittled away Termagaunts that otherwise would be contesting my objectives. The game was a technical win for me, though my opponent ended with more points (which was fine; he played a great game). All because of 2 STR4 AP5 shots per turn from a target that my opponent mostly ignored.

I know its kinda of expected but holy cow that guy is epic. So epic I ended up buying a Hector Rex and transferring the title to him. He has lived up to his reputation to this day!

My daemon prince turned a Shas'el into a Chaos Spawn which assaulted the hammerhead behind it and blew it up, leaving two fire warrior squads vs a spawn, a daemon prince, a rhino, a unit of khorne berzerkers and some chaos marines. All I lost was 1 spawn in that game (it got rapid fired down, but I punished the unit by turning their shas'ui into a spawn, which ate a few FWs and chased them off the table).
More spawnification is how my DP turned a tooled-up shadowfield archon into a spawn in the last DE dex. I was disallowed from using the power again (even though it's not a shooting power (but MCs can fire two weapons) and my prince had MoT) which would've drawn the game, as that spawn killed all but 1 Incubi which survived to contest my only objective.
Also had a Crisis battlesuit hold up the Throne of Judgement in CC from ~turn 2 till the end of the game (it should've died, but the guy using it thought he was T6, so the railgun wound he took earlier didn't insta-gib him like it should've).
There's also my ninja Broadside. A squad of combat-equipped scouts outflanked and ran down my FWs, taking 1 casualty back. They then proceeded to assault my broadside next turn, dealing him a wound. My broadside got mad, caved two scout's skulls in with his Smart Missile System and sweeping advanced the remnants.

My death company dread (with blood talons) killed a 2 squads of Blood claws in cc in 2 turns. Kinda epic, but not crazy since they couldn't damage him at all.
Playing my Nids against Orks my Genestealers (full 20 w/BL) were assaulted by 2 squads of 20 boys and 1 was an 'ard boys squad and the genestealers killed them. I was just surprised that I won that one. Only took like 5 wounds on my end as well.

Best thing I've ever had was from two models, not 1. Was playing a 5k pt game, without APOC stratagems, and had brought Drazhar with 8 Incubi, Lelith attached, and Baron with 4 hellions( all the hellions I had at the time). They started as far forward as possible and proceeded to all get locked into a combat with 7 Dreads on my opponents side (he was playing BT), 4 Venerable, 2 regular, 2 Ironclad. Incubi got wiped, along with the hellions, and Baron failed his first 2+ Shadowfield, so he died. Drahzar managed to cut the arm off of one of the regular dreads, and Lelith made 2 saves to survive. Over the next three turns, Drahzar and Lelith managed to keep all 7 Dreads tied up while the rest of my army fought everything else. Lelith ended up making a total of 32 3+ saves, and Drahzar accounted for 2 Ven Dreads, one IC Dread, and 1 reg Dread, before both were finally killed. My opponent really did not enjoy the fact that Drahzar kept making it where at least 2 or 3 Dreads couldn't swing each turn that it was just him and Lelith due to Darting Strike and jumping him around in the combat.

There is two or 3 models who distuingish themselfs from the rest:
1) Kharn the Betrayer, obviously!, Killed a Avatar of War in a single turn, with no wounds, then killed a squad of 5 Banshees, lost one wound,Killed the next turn a squad of Dire avengers after getting one wound lost after a whole shooting phase on his head by 3 units.
In a recent game against SW, in a Dark Crusade scenario, killed 3 Times a RunePriest,2 Times a Wolf Priest and the Wolf Lord and his retinue.
Game before floored Lelith Hesperax and a unit of Wyches who where unable to wound him.
2)Old V4 Prince Deamon of Khorne, with Zerker Glaive,Deamonic Speed,FnP and Chaos Rune...,in a particular scenario where the deployment was in table corners,my opponent was a Emperors Children's!,first turn i manage to put in contact my DP, he annhiliated the Squad before making a sweeping advance into the next closest unit.
Turn two he destroyed this unit and the unit that charged him, couldn't do anything to him,as he succesfully rolled all his saves and FnP saves.
By turn 3 the rest of my army arrives and charges the rest,by turn four there was only his Lord and Sorcerer+ a retinue of Slaaneshi Termies.
Ah...the good old days of the Zerker Glaive+Deamonic Speed...
3) My Possesd Aspiring Champion, in a tournament, facing Tau's(once again in V4),turn 3 my Asp Champ charge with his squad the Tau commander and Exo armours retenue.
Imagine..., a S9 I5 5A Zerker thats charge 4 Exo armours +4 Shield Drones...,but those was the glorious days of the Khorne's Ax...,i managed to roll a total of 17 attacks!!!!
17 times in a row i rolled 6's!!!,needless to say that his squad was annihilated,he was a bit disgusted, and in perfectly understand that, but by the Gods that was some feat!

Asdrubael Vect FTW!
I know he's an expensive special Character...but still, it was pretty amazing.
During an RTT about a month ago, he was riding along with some incubi in their raider against a footslogging Loganwing army.
Raider got shot down midfeild and they were walking. Unit got shot up by some Frags from some Long fang units, all that was left was Vect and a single Incubi.
During Movement, Vect left the squad, but directly joined a wych squad that had just disembarked from their own raider a little further up that was dangerously close to charge range to a juicy unit.
Wyches (with Vect) Multicharged into a long fang unit (with Logan and Runepriest attached) and a unit of Grey hunters. Wyches did little damage, and were all but wiped out due to the countercharge...Vect went to work on the squads first.
At the end of the HtH, total dead, killed by Vect were the long fangs, the grey hunters, Logan, Runepriest, another unit of Grey Hunters that charged in and TWO Terminator/Thamm/SS armed Lone Wolves...all killed off by Vect.
He then charged into a third unit of Grey Hunters killing them all but the Wolf Guard who finially clobbered him with a fist.
Impressive....

My friend's winged Daemon Prince of Khorne landed his deep-strike in front of my FW's and Crisis Suits...then proceded in surviving two volleys of Pulse Rifle fire, and a volley of Plasma Rifle/Missile Pod from my XV8's
Next turn he demolished one squad of FW's and almost got to my Suits...Thankfully I killed him the next turn, but it gave my friend plenty of time to set up the rest of the army
Needless to say, I lost that match

I played in a tournament right after the Marine book came out----and was running Vulkan with some Drop Pod Dreads. I asked my opponent how much melta he had----he pointed to one lone guardsman in a squad and said "there".
First turn I drop in front of his blob, heavy flame that unit killing all but a few----they run. For the rest of the game---each turn my Dread killed something---be it an infantry unit, squads of Leman Russ in assault, etc. Auto-cannons everywhere---and the kid couldn't kill him.
It's the most fun I've ever had with a Dread.

Dour Wolf Priest with Iron Wolf Amulet

In one game a couple years ago, my Wolf Lord and his Wolf Guard retinue chewed through a large unit of scarabs and warriors (not that big a deal, I know), before being caught in the open facing the Nightbringer. They fired all their weapons at me, killing the retinue and wounding my Wolf Lord twice, before the Nightbringer charged me. However, I managed to survive for 2 more turns in man-to-god combat and got 2 wounds in on the beastie (caused by a frost blade - I was wounding on 6's) before I finally went down... but man was it an epic battle.
In the same battle, another guy with Dark Eldar (it was a team game) had one guy with the shield that grants you a 2+ invul save until he fails it once... well, he just would not die. After my Grey Hunters and Blood Claws wiped out all the DE warriors, this guy wiped both of my squads out before running across the field as the last man standing, taking on all the surviving enemies. And still, his shield would not go down. It took us about 3 turns to finally break the shield, at which point he went down quickly.

Mine was unfortunately against me. I was playing my Mech Guard against Grey Knights. He had a Dreadnaught. Marbo popped up behind the Dred, and a squad of knights. His Demo charge killed 5 knights, and shook the Dred. next turn I get a unit of melta vets in range. They all wiff. His Dred tears apart my chimera. Next turn I get my CCS w/4 plasma guns in rapid fire range. 4 rapid fire plasma and 3 melta bounce off. He charges and rips up another Chimera. Somewhere in here my melta vets are picked off by other troopers, and the remaining vet runs. Next turn plasma vets show up, so 7 rapid fire plasma bounce off the Dred. My commander issues get back in the fight, and my sole melta vet rallies. His Dred Ripps up a 3rd Chimera. Next turn 7 rapid fire Plasma bounce off again, but my remaining Melta vet gets back in range and finally immobilizes the damn thing.
A single Dred held up half my army of special weapons for 4 Turns!!!!

Got two of my own stories.
First one's from an Apoc game I played once. Opponent had a big group of 'fexs, who shot up a couple mobs of grots, and got shot up in turn, till there was one fex left with a single wound, and one plucky grot who'd passed his leadership test. Well, that grot Assaulted the Carnifex. Six to hit, Six to wound... but the Fex made his armour save- by ONE! That grot managed to stay alive for the rest of the game, though, locked in CC with a Carnifex!
'nother one, this one with a borrowed Tau army. Was fighting Khorne CSM. Had a pair of gun drones that came off a Pirhanna, floating around, shooting at berserkers. Well, one squad of berserkers got a bit close, were shot up a bit by the Gun drone, so I figured, 'what the heck, let's Assault them!'. Assaulted about, 5? 6? Berserkers with a pair of Tau gun drones. Save every wound, they lose half their guys, and I manage to sweeping advance them. I wiped a squad of Khorne Berserkers with a pair of Tau gun drones.

setup. Late game I have a single assault space marine with a melta bomb finishes killing off some IG and starts the opponents urn about six inches away from a leman russ. There isn't much left of either army so he has to shoot the space marine or get charged by a space marine. Shot scatters almost straight back six inches and hits both the leman russ and the basilsk. This was back before only the whole did full strength vs. vehicles and resulted in two dead IG tanks.

17 times in a row i rolled 6's!!!,needless to say that his squad was annihilated,he was a bit disgusted, and in perfectly understand that, but by the Gods that was some feat!
lolwut?
17 6's? What is the probability of that?

Dunno but i never managed to redo that feat ever again...
But it wasn't really like 17 in a row like" i throw one dice, got 6, throw the same dice again, role a 6..." more like the first 5 attacks all gave 6's, then roll 4 others gave 6's,then those 4 gave 4 6's again!and then i got 3 znf finaly 1.
So yeah 17 S9 attacks pretty much hurt...

My greatest triumph & sorrow was with a lowly HWT Guardsmen, he was charged by 4 Orks, they proceeded to inflict 4 wounds, I rolled two 5's and two 6's. I strike back the next turn, kill two and they break, we initiative check, and I ran them down. The next ork shooting phase, he was unceremoniuously killed by Grot blastas.
The most balls to the wall thing I have ever had a tank do was my hellhound in a recent tourney. I was playing Tau and my opponent made it a priority to kill it (his past experiences with it pretty much guaranteed that). I had creed make it outflnk, and it proceeded to roll up his flank and kill 2 squads of objective camping Firewarriors, a devilfish, a sniper drone team and a stealth suit team. Burnninate!
