I can't beleive no one else is a fan of the Morning Glory:

It wraps around your swords and axes to hit you in the face, and batters down your sheild and armor.

And yes, I know it's a Morning Star, I just like Glory better.

Either way, I guess I'm gonna take a cross bow, I'd take a English long bow, but I'm not sure how accurate I would be, I haven't shot a regular bow in about 10 years. I'm fast so you'll never catch me with your sword or whatever.

I've fired longbow before but I was better with composite bow (obviously). But that's a bit above the tech level we're talking about, I suppose.

Unless it's a game of D&D and your going against my brother. He's taken a great sword, thrown it some three hundred feet (downhill) and nailed this dude in the back...

Not really composite bows made from different materials have been around for centuries. Compound bows with the wheels and such are new tech.

Alright! I'm saying composite bow then. My accuracy was much higher and they're a lot more powerful to boot.

Long Bow in war was less about individual, aimed shots, and more massed volley shot.

It's still possible to use it for hunting, and thus aiming, but in War it was more 'great big cloud of arrows, over there, where the Frenchies are.............now!'
