Everyone please take a moment to welcome the newest member of our moderator family: Janthkin.
Janthkin has long been someone I felt would be a superb moderator, but I've resisted asking him to be one mainly because he has been a friend and teammate of mine on 'Dakka Detachment #1' at Adepticon for the past several years, and I've tried to stop the moderation here on Dakka from ever feeling like an old "boy's club."
But eventually I had to face the facts: Janthkin is by far, the most polite and patient person I think I know, which makes him an absolutely ideal moderator. As such, I felt it was high time to get over whatever little biases I had and go ahead and offer him the position. Happily for all of us, he has accepted and will now be helping us out in the never-ending quest to keep Dakka as polite and friendly as humanly possible.
So please take a second and wish him well!
