I put a list together a while back of the threads that have really inspired me on dakka... I thought I'd share it with you in case you were interested. It' mostly painting and modeling blogs so there's probably stuff in here that will interest you.

Arakasi's "Da Dark Angelz" (Arakasi's building skills are phenomenal and his imagination is unparalleled.)
Whalemusic's "The Great Marine Swap" (This thread is just inspirational from start to finish... and so many people have developed as modelers and painters throughout it's pages. Definitely a win all-round.)
