Sergeant looks great Gits. I like the Red Scorpions helmet on the base, bit of pay back going on there?

@Anpu:

Why yes Gir... very perceptive of you! Actually I was feeling kind of guilty because most of my team mates (on both teams) are salting their bases with bits and pieces of the opposing chapters and I really hadn't done that at all. So I figured it was fitting to put one on the last figure in the army (as well as getting a little payback).

The whole shebang... Points out to 4450 in 5th Ed. C:SM, that's only counting war gear that is actually modeled onto the figures. A few BA models were pointed out as captains or sergeants.... but this is pretty much it. Scouts and LS Storms still need a little attention, but I think everything stands up pretty well. This is roughly 3 1/2 - 4 years worth of effort. Though in that same time period, I've done and equal amount of orks and as much again in Necrons & Tyranids combined (though not all to this standard).

Note that I haven't included any of the GMS marines here because they've become their own army! But you can figure there's about 25-30 more mantis warriors that I've painted over the years that are my halves of the GMS trades. The razorbacks are here as rhinos due to an unfortunate accident at Solar_lion's place last year that left the turrets smashed to bits. Still have to fix that.

Well... there's the boring stuff, like fixing the razorback turrets, finishing the LS Storms, the drop pods and the scouts. That'll happen here and there along the way (probably not until after Adepticon).

I have a couple of GMS marines to do, those are a priority.

My next "real" projects will be terminators and land raiders. Been wanting to do them for a long, long time but other things are always getting in the way. Time to make them a priority.

I won't Reiko... thanks for pointing it out though. The first LoTD (prototype) is sitting right next to graven's partially complete GMS marine so I'm not likely to forget either one. They, like my vanguard... are on hold until I know what the new C:SM has in store for them. (whenever that shows up)
