the roof looks even better mate, those sandbags are cool.
The chemical plant is huge , like the scale of things , loving where your minds at for this project . But i have a critique , i think the pipe that is comming out of the facility would look better if it where joined to the building in a more secure way. like a big washer or something similar, at the moment it look a bit like a washing machine outlet pipe , which isnt a bad thing , for a more post apoc style city , but looks a little loose for your sombre city of death . did you use textures pray paint on the towers ? looks very good matey.

The sandbags tie it all together really well, it looks like it's really been used as a defensive possition now, rather than just being a gun on top of a church. Love it

Thanks Neil I am loving it too! I did use a rough coat spray on the silo As far as the hanging tube I agree and may have some grating that will work perfect, good call as always Neil

The defense of Imperial Planet 14-751-40000 aka New Ceres is going poorly Thanks for the comment!

Thanks again for the comment!
Also guys if you all could take a minute and check out the guy who made the sandbags site I would really appreciate it
http://terranscapes.com/
He is running a small terrain making company that makes amazing terrain for a fair price and more important he is a great guy I am not a partner of his in any way but he is so good at what he does it would be a crime to not tell you guys. Have a peek and I guarantee you will not regret it
As for me all of my money is being tied up in lawyer fees from a bs lawsuit, so NO NEW PROJECTS in the immediate future . The good news is I can finish some of my older pieces as well as start writing some fluff about what led up to the destruction of the cities on the Planet New Ceres
Thanks as always stopping by and for your input Even with my life seeming upside down I can always count on Dakka and you guys to distract me even if only for a short time. With a hearty THANK YOU please keep the comments coming
Mike

I would...if you give me your number (I wouldnt before you know it I actually call and chat your ears off).
Anyways what's been going on in your part of the world, you doing alright? I just realized today that I started a new army two months ago and ended up doing three at the moment. A conversion army, a regular IG army, and some Space Marines due to random stuff laying about. I reckon the same principle would work for making scenery as well...and I do have a ton of materials laying about I freed from work.

Thanks Neil. I am a big fan of your thread as well, even though I don't comment as much as I should. Anyway if only you lived closer so we could have the "Ultimate Grim Dark City Of Super Death and Doom" but at least we have our threads.
As far as the magnets they were $10us or $6uk. Pretty cheap considering it had 25 in the pack. The first time you here the click of two pieces snapping together you will be hooked. I plan on using them when ever it makes sense.
Thanks for the comment and do to insomnia last night I managed to get the first of seven dry brush coats on! Pics forth coming so stay tuned!
