On my most snarkiest and asshat of days I'm a saint compared to how you treat others on your "nicest" of days.
You have some repressed anger. It's okay H. Nobody is here for you so you can go weep alone.
Point being if MDG was able to and felt inclined to he'd take pics. Him not being able to due to losing his job over it is a good reason not to.

You're doing a great job here champ. Keep 'em coming.
But, just for the record:
1. My comment about Jervis was a joke. I'm fairly certain Grotsnik got it because Grotsnik, despite our disagreements, has a sense of humour. And skin thicker than 1mm... unlike you, who seem to take offense at a joke directed at someone else. 2. GW stores (at least in Oz so far) aren't too keen on showing the book to incoming customers, so there is a level of truth behind what I say (aside from the whole Jervis thing). 3. Pointing out the behaviour of others in no way excuses your own. So drop the 'on my snarkiest of days' nonsense. It's far too funny.

I would NEVER give you the pleasure. I know you want me to be offended but that would just brighten your day and I won't allow that to happen.
Adios.

Heh. Yeah you are. You're far too thin skinned and react so explosively to not be affected by this.
But anyway, before this thread drowns in your irony any more, shall we add a little bit of actual content, courtosey of BoLS.
The mission list:
Chaos Marines
1. Pillage
2. Black Crusade
3. Scorched Earth
Chaos Daemons
1. Night Fight
2. Invasion
3. Fight to the Death
Dark Eldar
1. Dawn Raid
2. Slave Raid
3. Feigned Retreat
Eldar
1. Pre-emptive Strike
2. Flank Attack
3. Mobile Defence
Imperial Guard
1. Prepared Assault
2. War of Attrition
3. Trench Warfare
Necrons
1. Ambush
2. Reconnaissance in Force
3. Implacable Advance
Orks
1. Blitzkrieg
2. Waaagh!
3. Cut & Run
Space Marines
1. Vanguard
2. Surprise Attack
3. All-round Defence
Tau
1. Vertical Envelopment
2. Counter-Attack
3. Fighting Withdrawal
Tyranids
1. First Contact
2. Wave Assault
3. Infestation
Universal
1. Kill Team
2. Linebreaker
3. Clash of Heroes
I must say I like the idea of 'Feigned Withdrawal' for Dark Eldar. Fits quite nicely. Night Fight for Daemons just sounds like a good way to annoy your opponent (I mean, they're fighting Daemons - isn't that annoying enough?). And I'm really interested to see if the Necrons can add a little scope to the army beyond 'March forward - get Sweeping Advanced - lose game'.

I think any attempt to fully separate the contents now is pretty much doomed to failure, so we'll just roll with it for now I reckon.

Ok, so to reiterate. For the model side of things:
ORK DRED N KANS: Majority (including me) VERY pleased with Ork Dred n Kans - aside from: some criticisms of the feet and the question over the grotzooka (which apparently IS in the kan kit) and the KMB (which apparently ISN'T in the kan kit).
SM VENERABLE DRED KIT: Mostly pleased, concerns over heads and armour plate choices have been put to rest as many options available... However, a major criticism is the lack of a MultiMelta, this is the Standard Equipped Weapon yet isn't in the kit...
IMPERIAL GUARD ARMOUR: Mostly a resounding 'meh' about both the Chimera and the Basilisk... However a major criticism is the lack of hull mounted heavy bolter for the Basilisk, this is again, the Standard Equipped Weapon yet isn't in the kit...
ORK FLASHGIT: A collective 'well it's quite nice but erm... what do I do with it'. As an aside, I'll say I find it to be lacking any 'Flash', it's a fairly normal looking ork with a little squig and a large shotgun, I was expecting something alittle more 'pimped'...

Whilst I'm still a bit "meh" over the venerable dread.. I just don't see the need for it myself, I do gather however the way it all fits together, especially the weapon/s arms is a joy to behold.

Because certain poses just cant be done if limbs are exchangeable.
??? Most converters find that changing a models pose, especially extreme changes, is much easier with plastic than metal. Metal models show off the sculptors work, plastic allows the modeler to show off their work.

She's talking about sculpting. When you have to make the arms interchangeable, you trade some interesting poses. Not saying you couldn't convert it that way yourself, but in general, interchangeable arms means more generic poses.
I'm still baffled and disturbed by the IG releases. I know that this is likely just a stop-gap until the combined artillery box later this year (hopefully) but it's pretty stupid to not even include a heavy bolter in the kit. That said, I'm looking forward to getting a third Ven Dread to march along side my two Forgeworld ones. Just need to order some FW multi-melta arms.

This conversation has even begun to boggle my internet-hardened mind.
anyone know if FW planning on releasing conversion ktis fo the ven kits?
The Imperium of Man is able to traverse the Warp with difficulty when their Emperor concentrates from his golden life support machine and lights the way. Unfortunately, because the Emperor has the attention span of the average 5-year-old Pokemon fanboy, this means that many an unfortunate Imperial ship has had the WTF WHERE'D THE LIGHTS GO experience, which in the Warp is invariably fatal.

I find it funny people see the Flash Git as not "flashy" enough. GW usually depicts them more in a freeboater "pirate" way, rather than a "loota" way.
If you look on the model it's an archetype of orky pirate. It has a bandana, a boomstick, and even a funny-looking squig on his shoulder (parrot anyone?).
The various ranged weapons can quite easily be slid in and out of the 'shoulder' mounting, meaning no need to magnetise to switch guns between engagements. Hurrah!
Ork Deff Dredd mountings should be quite easy to magnetise, either the socket or the mounting plug is up to you.
Dredd kit also comes with 2 KMBs, which is nice if you are getting Kans (guns ARE interchangable, but will hug the side of the Kan rather than being arm mounted)
Fed up of Scalpers? But still want your Exclusives? Why not join us?
I got a hold of the contents of the 'black box' mid last week.
The kans are excellent with all the variability of options, weapons and attachable junk. One of the weapons shoots pieces of scrap at the enemy. I particularly liked the drill CCW.
The dread's leg assembly is great, looks like it can walk now. The face plates are brilliantly done. The (only) meh bit is the ranged weapons are essentially strapped to the body, so no swivel mounts or anything. I dearly wanted to use one of the faceplates as the (extremely oversized) back banner for my WHFB black orc boss but it was already glued to the model.
The venerable dread's upper armour is covered in recessed writing, I assume of the battles/worlds it has fought at.Does't look as goofy as I thought it would and the dread CCW almost looks like a hand now. The one we had used a plasma cannon.
The flash git is a great model but for the price.... I think I'd not bother.
The battle missions book. I flicked through the first half, primarily the fluff bits about examples of the way the races attack a world/colony etc at the start of each race's section. The acctual missions are well laid out and have decent enough pictures to explain deployment etc with green 'table maps'.
For now.... that is all.

Too bad you cant see any of the fine details in the videos.
