They may or maynot do a plastic thunderhawk as they did a Baneblade or Ork Stompa; not least because an "anniversary year" like 2012 will allow plenty of opportunities to do "special stuff": I kinda doubt however, any of those will become "regular" Codex Units however.

Say, Landspeeders, Attack Bikes or Veteran Squads for example. Clearly, Dark Angels should give them back. Oh, and Terminator Armour too. They were published first not in a Dark Angel book, so they should rightfully be exclusive to the Codex that published them first.
Since you're not sure what I'm talking about let me elaborate:
Having a Dreadnought available only to us in fluff yet everyone but us in gameplay.
Disappearing of all SCs and rules with each codex while some chapters getting one step closer to having SC servitor with special rules.
Seeing your scout SC killed of then his reincarnation in the Ultramarines Codex.
People trying to grab our few remaining defining traits.
Trying to justify having our own codex by pointing our exclusive stuff.
And getting called exclusivity fetishist for that.
Briefly this is the situation me and other DA players in and I was making a joke about this misfortune. I'm not asking anything back just saying no more sharing, so chill out for a bit.

I wouldn't mind seeing my hoodie marines make a comeback. If they were going for a mass chaplain mechanic, it would probably be akin to Sanguinary Priests in the BA dex.
It would be great to at least see the return of the 'specialist characters' Belial and Sammael, even better to see a Belial model.
A special plasma Vindicator/Predator...probably with some nasty 'cleanse the sinner' name like redemptor or absolutor or burninator (that last is just for lols). I have sudden visions of the business ends of two venerable dread plasma cannons poking out of a seige shield.
All that being said, this is all still rumors. Maybe we'll get lucky here, maybe not.

What is it with all the ideas of DA having chaplains galore, that would be more along a BT line. It has already been said multiple times it really just dosent make sence, a chaplain is there to Interrogate the Fallen and make sure he is captured. So unles there was a group of fallen in the same place at the same time who once captured all needed to be interrogated at the same time there would be no need for such a thing.
As for a comeback with special characters i would like to see a rules revamp on Belial and Sammael

Well, lets see. We have the uniquely named and characterful Interrogator-Chaplain who play a large role in our chapter's fluff, in 2nd Edition we had no less than two Chaplain characters (Asmodai and Sapphon), and every single one of our codices since 1999 has featured a Chaplain front and center in the art. Our Chaplains are a unique feature of our army and one that bears more looking in to. So sorry to say, but the Chaplain thing is another one of those things BTs were late to the party on (like the Knight theme).
Also, keep in mind that Interrogator-Chaplains (like the Deathwing) aren't only there for the Fallen. Fallen are rare and so they have a plethora of other duties. More than any other chapter the Interrorgator-Chaplains are very interested in the loyalty of their brethren. They are the ones who decide when a Company Veteran is ready to progress on to becoming a Deathwing and when a member of the Deathwing is ready to pass in to the Inner Circle. In a way they are a lot like Commissars of the Chapter and it would be interesting to see their role as morale officers and objects of fear played up more in the next codex.
Also, remember that BT use their Chaplains different than the Dark Angels, so they can still have a Chaplain focus but it will be wholly different than what you see with the Dark Angels. BT Templars are your usual fire and brimstone preachers leading the troops to new heights of zeal. Interrogator-Chaplains are shadowy figures who keep balance in the chapter and make sure everyone remains loyal to their cause.

Minus the fact that they are like Arthurian knights, have tremendous amounts of terminators and bikes, and lots of plasma. Oh and the fact that they had a huge rift in their legion that turned their whole chapter into a hunting force which makes them deviate tremendously from the index astartes. If you're going to find a thread to troll do it somewhere else and in a much less obvious way.

Once again:
Chaplains have long been a fixture of Dark Angels. Two Chaplain characters, albeit ones who were dropped from the Codex over the years.
Chaplains for Dark Angels works quite well, especially given the idea that they might be done in such a way that they become parted out to the rank and file squads.

I'm hoping for double-headed riding lions, with great black raven-wings sprouting from their backs. It'll be a new category -- Jump Cavalry -- and they'll be called Death Raven Plasma Lions. The robed Death Raven Plasma Lion Plains Knights riding them will have be armed with giant Death Raven Plasma Lion Hammer Swords.
