The ooze came out great and I thought the one grot looked like he was melting before I read it, so... way to pull that off! The pointing arm is kinda weird though... even for mutant grot ooze. It's just hard to tell if i's suppose to be from the melting grot or some other grot that has already melted quite a bit more. Though, now that I type it, I'm not sure that's really a problem.

The big mek is looking cool, with his tooled down scorcha. I would suggest covering the bullet shell eject port (what ever that is called) with some GS or something... to make it look less like a slugga with a flamer nozzle on the end.

Thanks for the idea on the big mek, unfortunatly I've already started painting him . The grot arm is supposed to be a grot that was standing in the way when the tank burst (it's hard to show that so everyone can draw up their own conclusion ). thanks for the compliments though

Ok I've been working on the mek and the ard boys, the mek has had his skin done and some lightning effects on his kff, aswell as the casing on the burna. The ard boy mob is fully built and sprayed YAY . I've done a few diffrent techniques on the ard boy ,especially his head which is darker than rest of the model. I've started washing skin in thraka green, but i'm unsure wether it will be noticable on the table so I might not bother from now on.

and heres the ard boy, he looks like he's keaning foward in the first photo but thats just beacuse there is another base under his base

Thanks bunnygurl the blue is a pain in the a** to do, it takes 3 hours to do the blue on one figure (in 3 hours you would think it would be a much higher qaulity)

That mek's looking nice so far, like the KFF. Also liking the details on the wagon. Looking forward to seeing your painboy.

Thanks monkeytroll, the painbpy will be coming in the summer (there's other units i need much more) but i have got a few ideas like :

A big bag of ork body parts

A harness of some sort with ork body parts on it

A large tank of ooze with all sorts of gore in it

A needle for an arm and a tube of ooze attatched to the top of the arm and then a large tube going from the ooze to the needle arm.

Any other ideas would be greatly aprrecieated

Quick update-

I've been working on the battlewagon and I've began to paint the big shoota casing in red. I washed the wheels in devlan mud aswell as the end of the big shoota to give it a used look.

I'm now wondering what to get next it's a hard choice and it's either

Snikrot and 15 kommandos

15 Burna boyz

15 lootas

what do you guys think?

I got the second ard boy done today (finally ) and I got out a warbike that came with the battleforce and finished painting it. I really like the way it looks and this might mean I'll go with some nob bikerz instead of the other 3 things (but i'm not sure yet), I might go with regular bikes for fast attack choice if I don't want nob bikerz. Anyway I tired to add some weathering to it and I@m pretty proud po how it came out but i'm not sure I should do it on the other bikes, what do you guys think?

I just thought I'd show you the ard boy first

and heres the warbike, he's not finished but I wanted some opinions on the weathering

Looking good. How did you do the weathering on the bike?

Thanks arakasi, I just stippled on graveyard earth and then washed it with devlan mud, it's simple but effective.

I really like the weathering on the bike. I look forward to seeing the model with the base fully done to see how you tie it all in together.

Cheers, The sand on the base might need to go on certain parts of the wheels, though that might make them jam but oh well they're orks.

Nice, that weathering's really effective, definitely keep it on the others.

Thanks CommissarKhaine and Monkeytroll. It looks like I will keep the weathering and use it on the other bikes and probably a few vehicles. I like the way the weathering gives the model a rugged feel instead of the scratched look in the codex.

Thank you Matt.Kingsly.

I've done 2 more ard boyz and a nob for the ard boyz but they all look similar to the first one so there is no real reason to put pics up unless someone wants to see them. Anyway the biker boss ide will be put on hold for a long time now beacuse I want Raid on kastoral novem and there are other things I want now, I have decided on using an attack bike when I finnaly get round to starting him
Anyway what do you think I should go with, I have narrowed it down to a few choices:

Nob bikers

Snikrot and kommandos

15 burnas for the battlewagons

or if anyone has a better idea please tell me, cheers

Given where you were going with that warbike, I'd say Nob bikers

Thats how it looks Arakasi, I might just buy a box of bikes, not put the riders on and run them as nob bikers to see weather I want regular bikes or nob bikes.

BUtl seeing as it's been 10 days since I last updated this thing I thought that now it's 1am and I don't need to get up early tomorow morning I might aswell take some pictures of the ard boyz. I was encouraged today when I went down to my local gw and my army got alot of admiration form the staff and gamers (except one 11 year old who thinks he is god of wargaming ,he walked up to me and said "those look crap" and then he continued to paint without undercoating his models and eventually playing a game where he thougt fire warriors were ws 5 ) but apart from that everyone else really like the models, especially the ard boyz flag so i'm using it as my avatar.

But anyway you lot probably want to see the pics so here they are

The nob of the squad has the nickname "will walluce" (thats a braveheart refrence btw) beacuse he single handedly took out a landraider, pedro kantor and was eventually kill by a dreadnaght. The warpaint on his face also helpped him get the nickname

oh and I painted the guy with the axe/shoota.
