I was playing around with the insta mold but the result was interesting, the heads with hair got in the way of the detail pressing and the masks ended up all over the place. I could try to cut back edges of the mold to get closer to the hair...
I may try other masks/molds and see what I end up with.

yeah,
These girls have been sitting 95% complete for a few weeks... but the woman drakes decapitator thing took over.
Well today they got their highlights and bases, Yay!
Trueborn Squad 2
Trueborn Squad 3
And all three blaster squads with their Venom Transports.
Squad 1 = 3 blasters - Dracon with whip - ( HQ - Haemonculi not complete yet will join this squad)
Squad 2 = 3 blasters - 1 splinter rifle - Dracon with whip
Squad 3 = 3 blasters - 1 splinter rifle - Dracon with whip
And finally this is everything painted so far...
So I really need to sit down now and think of the best way to get these girls to 1000pts so I can get a game with them?
It's Still not legal yet as I've still not done the SkyBitch (...so that the hellions become troops...)

The mandrakes are looking really good. I would go for the Scourge heads. They look fantastic, so what if you have more than 1 unit of them In fact you could use it as the signature of the more heavily modified elements of your force. Maybe there is a sale on armour with any wings or digitigrade upgrade

yeah,
I got the super deluxe Nirvana nevermind Album in the post today.
The plan was to sit in one place and listen to it... which also made the perfect reason get some hobby done.
I decided that I've been distracted with scourges and womanthings but what my hellion army was lacking was... hellions.
So I made 15 more. 12 regular and 3 helliarchs with whips.
I think the poses came off quite good..

How are Hellions working for you game wise?
Also, it might be a bit late, but you can actually get 3 blasters easily from the warrior box:
Obviously it comes with 1 blaster
Cut the end off the Dark Lance, just forward of where the supporting hand goes, and you have another blaster
Cut the end off the shredder, replace it with the end of the blast pistol, and you have a third blaster
Just my 2 cents

Sorry for the lack of updates guys.
Life's been pretty hectic lately.
But the good news is that I have found a little time to paint every now and then and I've almost finished the 15 girls above.
They just need their final highlights doing. Photos by next week end.
After that I'll do the sky bitch herself and I will have a proper army!
Then I can pick and chose other fun things to add... very exciting times.

As an Ork Trueborn... I only picked up Dark Eldar for an AT contingent for APOC... But then got hooked on the Scourges... so my DE force is 30 Scourges, and miscellaneous Wyches/Kabalites.
I too, was looking to make the Wyches/Scourges all female, and the Kabalites predominantly male. Spent a fortune on Wyches/Scourges.
How do you get that skin-tone?
