There is a frightening consistency in all the plogs I'm following...they've all posted batreps where a win is the exception, not the rule Bods ill for my first game

I fudging love this army. I love the colours, I love the conversions, it's just all so awesome!
I thought your flaming hand conversion for the grotesques looked really cool, but turning them into Wracks was great, definitely getting the same arms when I come to converting some up myself. I'm saving the plain helmet heads from my Reavers for my racks, but the scourge ones really suit the bird-like feel of the daemonette legs.
Also, I wouldn't worry about Wracks fitting your fluff, they totally do. It makes perfect sense that Hellions would want to upgrade to Scourges, so they'd need to enlist the help of a Haemonculus, and she would surely bring her unit of she-wracks. And that opens up the whole lot of Talos/Chronos, Wracks and Grotesques (although not sure how you'd fem-up a unit of Grotesques... not tastefully anyway).
Do you think you might go back and do a unit of wo-mandrakes the same way as you did the wracks (but with the previous arms obviously)? I think it would look really good with the featureless faces as was suggested above, and having the two units (Wracks and Mandrakes) looking alike would tie them both in really well.
Anyways, that's my 2 pence (more like 5 pence) worth Seriously, great army mate, really inspiring me to get on with my own Dark Eldar (or distract me from my Skaven, one of the two), I'm not ashamed to tell you I'll be stealing more than one of your ideas in the near future!

Grotesques are next on the list and I've already gotten slaanesh Seeker legs and I have a friend with some 'inquisitor range' female assassin bodies I can borrow!.. While I get the rest of the parts I need, I've moved onto a zone mortalis and I'm planning 1500pts of either space wolfs or necrons... But a quick tasty project like converting grotesques will have me back at the dark eldar soon enough.

Well I didn't get quite get around to using all 45 boards... I did 25... My Dark Eldar Battle Foam arrived and I did a quick reveiw of the 432 product.

Make a copy and adjust it to fit the plastic seeker legs gs details so it's like a daemonette corset, then make 5-10 copies of that. Faces will probably be talos masks. Arms are still undecided, it would be nice to make larger versions of my wracks arms.. But it would be easier to use the cronos tenticle arms.

So 6th edition made the Web Way Portal pretty useless, I can't assault from it and the hellions/scourge can deep-strike anyways.
It would gain the pain engines 6" of risk free movement (..if they turn up on turn 2!)
But I feel it's no longer worth it's points in a 1500pt game. So I didn't take it...
My first game using Gribbly Chronos's and they are pretty good bullet magnets...
Plus at T7 with 3+ (and with a pain token 5+FNP) they stick around for a bit.
Spiriting a few pain tokens towards the girls, what's not to like.
The Talos was also a badass once it reached combat...

I got a nice new light box!
Using my Motrr (an Iphone gadget for doing timelapses) and my iphone I've been Been messing about with making 360 degree images of my models.
Using Timelapse software on the iphone
I set the camera to take 12 photos per second
I set the turntable speed so that with video playback at 24 frames per second I got one 15 second rotation... or there about!
The idea behind using stop motion rather than straight up video is that you don't get movement motion blur.
Pausing should show a single photo...

And my Girl wracks... will probabily make these into womandrakes.
I had plans on womandrake conversions before but now drakes are good it has to happen!
