The (wo)mandrakes are going to be cool, the weird decapitator model will be used as their nightfiend... They need alot of work so I think it's going to be scourge next.

Yeah I think they work really well in this army, it was planned to tie in foot troops with the standard hellions and vehicle bases. I love it because it saves so much time but I'm not so sure that I'll get away with using them again on my next army... Necrons.
Next week I plan to start the next units to push for the standard 1500pts... It's pretty much decided that it's scourges but I'm having thoughts about a pair of Razorwings? Do you think they will fit in with the Raider theme of this army? They are such lovely models... I could always get three when I take it to 2000pts

yeah, the following isn't really a Dark eldar post !!! Todays visit to GW has changed my future plans. My fledgling Necron plans are well and truly buried (ha ha)...
At the 25th anniversary party they had a bargin bin of sprues being sold 3 for £5 I was there early and cleaned out all the good space marine stuff! I rooted through it and picked out 18 untouched space marine sprues.

For £30 I got... 1 complete rhino 1 complete razorback 10 tactical marines 5 tactical marine combat squad 5 scouts with sniper rifles 5 scouts with bolters 5 assault marines with jump packs ! plus 3 vehicle accessory sprues and a landraiders sponson weapons.
Result!
Like I said not really a dark eldar post... but this news does mean that I'll get the scourges done quickly as I've promised myself I'd get the eldar to at least 1500pts before I move on. And I so want to move on to Spess Mehrens!!!

I played two games with the girls. with the Scourge and Skybitch built but still unfinished :(
The Scourge are now undercoated and getting painted in my spare time at work... should have photos of them competed by the end of the week.

Actually I disagree, as a haemonuculous it has a very dark feel being a mummy, makes me think of Frankenstein (although maybe thats cos im sick of it in my english dissertation) and reanimation, which fits with a haemonuculous rather well really...

I need to cut back on the number of models I've bought for this list but decided not to use.
check out the swap shop thread below to get your hands on 10 hellions or 5 scourge. part assembled but other than that in great shape!
There's some almost complete photos of the sky bitch and scourge in there.
I've also decided to work on this armies list/capabilities before moving on to necrons or space wolfs.
So I'll be painting more warriors and then either 3x ravagers or 3x razorwings...
I'm not a big fan of the ravager model If I can think of a good way to change it up this army I will, but I'll probably just make the standard model withe some chicks at the guns.
anyone have ideas on alternative ravager models?
