@monkeytroll: There is no back - the green is eternal (or at least it feels that way...). I look forward to doing the *white* wings (No, even the red weapons no longer excite me...)

Are you kidding. I love those NOBZ. Seeing them finished up is going to be awesome! (and it means you're closer to working on the Trukk) Hehe.

Wow. I take it the hatch didn't fit. Also - for some reason I thought the second DCCW was going under the gun I just hope the primer takes to that "other" plastic okay... You look like you managed to use most/all of the glyphs too

Going well - if slowly... not as far along painting or modelling as I'd like - as usual - but making progress 4 days a week Hopefully will be spending more time in Scotland after Oz in November, so *hopefully* more gaming too...

Yeah, I had planned to put it elsewhere, but it was much larger then I had planned for. Tried a few different spots, that one seemed the most natural. And I used everything you sent except the mounding plate (it was just too big!) and 2 of the grots.

I agree the guns are a bit OOT, but that's how I see orks, always trying to 1-up each other.

Due to your recommendations, I have moved the CCW part of the gun arm to the bottom. I have to beat up the fresh plasticard and add some rivets on the arm, but shouldn't take much. I'll post new pics of the arm later.

The green gun looks a little 'Baby's first Dreadnought', but the bitz help and so will some paint.

I find it annoying that every time I post everything stops, either for a few days or forever. There's a history of proof. Am I such a conversational hand grenade?

Not at all - I think its just correlated to post count (If you post more often, you are more likely to be last!) I appreciate the effort though!

I only get to work on my Orks Mon, Tues, Wed and Thurs evenings - so I will rarely add actual updates on other days, and then only if I feel I have something worth showing/noting. At the moment, I have slow painting progress on Gitsplitta's Stormboyz Nob (Do you really want to see another layer of green highlight?) and slow modeling on Artsoldier35's Trukk - which is currently in that limbo of small, but unimpressive progress which doesn't even begin (in my mind) to represent where it is headed... If I get enough calls for it I'll put up a WIP anyway

That and I'd prefer to be modeling to taking pics and updating plogs...

You have a lot of amazing ork conversions! I love the current dred mod you're doing. I'm excited to see both how it turns out and what you do next!

Check out my Project (B)log! I would love any suggestion or comments you may have.

I can't take credit for the Dred mod - that's whalemusic360's contribution as part of the Great Marine Swap Da Dark Angelz are starting to take on a life of their own, with multiple contributors - it can all get a bit confusing... Still - the majority of conversion work (Trukks, Deffkoptas, Stormboyz) is mine - happy to inspire people!

Dangitttt!! I read the earlier part of the forum.. but didn't want to read all 27 pages, so I skipped ahead (even thought I loved some of your earlier work!) and thought that I would confine my compliments to your current projects... but apparently I just fail.

Nice stuff either way. I'll watch in the future and am excited to see more!

Check out my Project (B)log! I would love any suggestion or comments you may have.

That's actually quite a good idea! I think I might do that for my plog too once it gets going a little more. Is there a way to add anchors (a link to a specific post/part on a page) to pages, or would I only be able to link to the specific page in the forums? (No worries if you don't know!)

Each page has its own URL. There appears to be a hashtag for each comment (its how you can "Skip to first unread") - but I can't see how to easily access it without trawling through the page source... May be one for the Nuts and Bolts forum...

Ez man, if you look at the 'status bar' (click 'view' and 'status bar' for mozilla at least if you don't already have it showing).

When you look at your own posts under profile and hover over the 'Go to message' html it show an additional '...xxxxx.page#xxxxxx' I assume that one could use this as a link to form an index, to posts with important images~!

Hope that helps

That would work - thanks! Obviously hadn't occurred to me before why I would want to see a list of my own posts and links to them...

Inside your mind, corrupting the pathways

If you want to link to a specific post of your own, click "edit post" (or quote post) on the post you want to link to and the edit page will have the ID number of that post. Copy the ID and then add it to the thread url with a hash key in front.

For example, this post is http://www.dakkadakka.com/dakkaforum/posts/list/780/253544.page#1951183

You can link to other people's posts by clicking on the quote button - the post ID number pops up at the end of the url. Then just do the same as above.

Also, you can click on the little page image to the left of the date. This will "jump" to that post, and will make the link follow suit.
That way you can just copy/paste the link from the address bar!
